I’m glad they’re fixing the Honda Accord front-end. Ford needs to get rid of the FNV architecture and the locked ECU, and we’ll be golden. 🇺🇸
You mean the honda accord styled after the s650, the stang came first

There better not be no goddamn center-exit exhaust

Leave that shit to Corvettes, Type-Rs, and mutant modern-day M BMWs

The 2023 Honda Accord vs. 2024 Ford Mustang. I thought 2024 was the sequential number after 2023. Did this change in the year 2023? I was born in the 1900s.

Either way, the S650 looks like a Honda Accord. That's not a bad thing, if someone likes Accord. Reliable FWD grocery-getter. I just don't.

yes......

where do you see they're changing the front fascia?
It's camo'd/covered, so they're likely gonna alter it. Same with the rear diffuser. Once they do, AND IF they remove the Fully Networked Vehicle (FNV) architecture, and locked ECU, otherwise it's another hard pass.

I'm not looking to share a lifetime ownership of the Mustang with Ford (and whomever else) while paying more money than an S550.

The design was probably finalized around 2018-2019 Well before the accord was released.

MY does not matter, when it was revealed does. The s650 was revealed to the public before the Accord, but is going into production later

Exactly, but a lot of people are oblivious to this fact, they don't understand how the product design process works. My family owns a 2017 explorer, that design came out in 2010 as a 2011 my.

People claim Ford ripped off Range Rover's design. But the more rounded Range Rover design they're referring to wasn't even released until 2012 or so. So they're claiming the rip off came out before the original. It's insanity, unless Ford has a time machine, that's not how it works.

You also conveniently forgot the 911 GT3. Honestly not bad company to be in if Ford did do this.

Also BMW's don't have center exhausts out of the box. It is a factory aftermarket upgrade.

Maybe more aero flexibility with center exhaust? If you look at track only or dual use vehicles, center or raised exhaust seems to be a regular feature.

Is there any significance as to why the lower part of the rear window is covered up? Or is it just that piece of camouflage they used to cover everything else up had to be laid down that way? Just curious 🧐
