I have not done this, going ctaless on the stock headers, but I would say you would receive an error without a tune to handle the O2s It has been said you can purchase some type of O2 delete device? But I have not pursued that option.

I will tell you, if you decide to get boosted, Steeda's Stop the hop kit is a worthy investment. That, with my other suspension enhancements, plants my vehicle to the pavement. No tire hop, no bouncing around, no swerving to the left, just plant and track forward.

I think that the S650 will continue on, but the Darkhorse will end with the DHSC. There had been a rumor that the DH was only going to be a 2 year run. Will 2027 see a different style of special Mustang?

Coolant tanks for a Darkhorse. Not a lot of good options currently. If you're feeling real good, options for intercooler tanks for the boosted crowd.

Braided brake lines on a DH will improve the pedal feel and performance. You will notice it mostly if you track your vehicle. Along with upgraded pads, I had to adjust to how firm the pedal became and the stopping distance. Running the Steeda kit.

The Stage 1 Whipple tune is designed for your setup. Stock CATS and stock gears. The tune is made for you not to overshift to hit the rev limiter, and has protection for the CAT setup. This is why Ford warranties it, but the funny thing, at least from what I have heard, if you blow the CATS...
