The Ford parts numbers are different. That says they are not the same across the board. The same argument is about Bronco Raptors and Badlands Broncos, Wildttracks, (before they went bye bye) and other models that had the Sqatch package. The Bronco Raptor IS NOT a Bronco with just a 3.0 and...
It was at the cars n coffee from this past weekend. A young gentleman was talking about his GT500, and the power he was making, but he said it was on 93. Or at least that is what I thought he said. Then his buddy came over, and everyone was gathered around his drag car, and said, no, no, he is...
I have heard, though, that E30 mix gets you sludge in the system. Not sure if that is true, but one guy who is now coming along as a Drag Racer in NHRA was talking about it. Says you should not use it; just go full E85
I did not have an R, I had a 17 GT350 with the handling pack. I remember when I purchased my GT350, you did not have to choose between Tech and the other package.
My GT350 was a fun car; I had headers (Kooks), an X-pipe, and Flex tune. My Darkhorse reminds me of the fun I had in that car, and...
Well, I may be missing the season...There is an event on Aug 29th at Homestead; I will try to attend but will need to jump through a few hoops due to some things already planned.
After that, I am not sure when I will be back out because I am having knee surgery on my left side; this will be in...
It's the G-Trac system Steeda sells. I also have this with my race K-member, and yes, the car will track straight as an arrow when you have the supporting mods underneath.
Shamelessly, I played with a Dodge Hellkitty on the way home from a Cars n Coffee event; the road was open and clear, on...
They are not wrong . I removed my cats and used the 3' performance pipe. I could have gone with the H.O.CATS, or the( ?GS1?) CATS (apologies, I forgot what they are called), but in the end, several people, including my tuner and a Whipple rep, said at stage 2, or custom tune, get rid of...
My first V8 Mustang was a SN95 97 Vert GT. White with the beige top. Man, that car was fun. I later added an ATI Procharger, Headers, Magnaflow exhaust, and the Saleen vert bar.
I have not had a Vert since that car. This SC vert may sell a whole lot better than people think. Especially here in...
I have a Steeda K-member. I know my engine is lower, but I have never looked into doing a strut brace. I have the G-Trac braces underneath on my K-member.
Would be cool if the GT500 brace could fit the S650.
After shamefully going with @exm setup for the radiator cover, this is my version :) Have to say, IMO, it came out better than what I had in my head
I had the Mustang; it matched up with my S1 Whipple tube. The plates and Whipple letters are what was added. Thanks again for the idea...
The ride is great. You would not know I had these suspension mods; well, you know because of the height of the car... LOL. But the wife approves, so that tells you the ride is good.
The dual rates will ride normally in the normal mode, but once I go to sport and track, and the suspension...
Morning.
I am running Steeda Ultimate dual-rate MagnaRide lowering springs. I am lower, but the dual rates are great. I would suggest finding a stock ride height spring that is stiffer. Steeda would probably have something for you along those specifications.
Power is relative to what the driver can handle. Also for what you are using the car for. Power is relative to what you can put to the floor. Spinning is not winning. You can have 1k HP, but if you cannot put it down, then you have too much for what you are trying to do, and now your 1k power is...
