Yes, 1-7/8 with the performance connection pipes through a Corsa Resonated Double H 3' all the way out.
I was going to do a 2' setup, but my tuner advised me that the 1-7/8 would be more than enough.
I am running Steeda Magneride Dual-Rate Ultimate Handling Lowering Springs.
I have the DH handling package rims.
Running Goodyear Supercar F1 3R 305x30x19 front, 325x30x19 rear.
I changed my markers to smoke LED. I did not have any screws...they were in tight; I just used a fork pry on it, and they popped out rather easily then.
Well, this is the first I have heard of the internals not being forged. I have my engine out and apart for the OSS, so I might as well take a look for myself. From my understanding, the connecting rods and crankshaft are forged; the pistons were not. Though the Ford brochures said pistons, it...
IMO it's not the power, sure, they make nearly the same when tuned. The part people gleam over is that the DH is a STRONGER engine. The DH has forged internals, the same as the GT500 and the DHSC. Also, the things that you get standard with the DH is a reason to buy.
This is why you can choose...
Running a boosted 6-speed manual. I been driving stick for a long time; I always keep the power in the band to keep the vehicle operating smoothly. If I am driving around town, I will drive in the gear that helps it respond quickly. I have the 3:73 gears.
In traffic, I usually drive around in...
@Junkyard Dog :I have not finished the install; my tuner is telling me not to worry about it.
We have no inspections here, so if it is an issue, I will use the defouler, or whatever that device is called, to stop the code.
That is an interesting device. My tuner was saying something like this...
Yes, it is working correctly. 4ohms is the correct setting; also, it is a dual voice. This mod made a huge difference in sound; no more muddy bass. I also purchased the center speaker mentioned here; I will install it once the LT's and oil gears are completed.
The good thing about that...
Well, Centri-style blowers make more power further into the RPMs. With your supporting mods, I would guess you would be in the 800's. I am no centri expert, but I have seen videos of DH and GTs with ESS systems making very good power.
Check out Patbuilt Performance on YouTube. He is a...
Out of the cars listed, the only one that truly has some chops is the SOA SS. Maybe the RTR spec 5 as well. The others are basically stage 1 Whipples with some body panels attached, a cat-back, and lowering springs.
The SOA SS brings a lot more to help put down what the car is actually doing...
They had replaced my engine with the 19 Gen 2 R version. One of the newer ones when it had changed. In hindsight, I should have kept that car and boosted it. I had done an entire audio system with it that I basically gave away. I replaced it with my GT500.
When I started looking for my...
I sold my 21 GT500 because I did not want to paddle shift anymore and wanted to row gears again. I started by looking at GT350's, SOA Shelbys, and then settled on the DH. Found a DH with 700A package and the Handling Pack. 6-speed! The rest is history.
Yes, the GT500 DTC and the 10Spds may be...
That's a nice setup.
@Upacurb : Reading what you said about GT350's not going boom had me go back and read the thread of my 17 going boom. It did work out in the end, but just the thought of dealing with that again is the reason I went the direction I went. The thread was...
@stowayman : I have not had an issue dealing with the dealer and lemon laws. but I have this question:
When the wrench came on and you went into limp mode, were you accelerating or driving at speed, 'cruising' along? Also, did you feel any type of surge or hesitation before the wrench light?
I...
