  1. Dark Horse hp vs GT hp

Except, it's pretty well proven that you can supercharge a Coyote, keep it at a certain power/timing/boost level, and it will last a long time. Plenty of people with 100k on supercharged engines. Ford warranties the new ones with a blower for 3/36k. You can blow up a GT500 engine. You can blow...
  2. Official: Mustang GTD laps Nurburgring in 6:57.685

It's the old GT500 engine isn't it? Nothing to do with the GT
  3. Official: Mustang GTD laps Nurburgring in 6:57.685

At least the Zr1 has resemblance to the actual production car unlike the GTD. Not much in common other than the name and bodywork
  4. Official: Mustang GTD laps Nurburgring in 6:57.685

    ^^^^ It's a stretch calling this a Mustang
  5. Dark Horse Owners - What oil are you using here in Canada? Motorcraft costs a ton to ship

You guys don't have Walmart up there? Buy whatever synthetic you like
  6. Unreal depreciation

sounds high this one of the highest priced ones
  7. Unreal depreciation

I used to buy a brand new car ever year, or every other year. Manufacturer discounts, etc, I still lost my ass every time. Took me 7 cars and who knows how much money to figure out not to do that.
  8. Unreal depreciation

Yikes Here's the most expensive ones within 200 miles of me I just build a 2024 convertible GT with the performance package, high premium, magnaride, and active exhuast and it was 67,200
  9. Tune Update?

Procharger said they were working with Ford on the calibration
  10. Tune Update?

So you think you're going to see 30-40whp gains on the S650? Or not as much? Let's wait and see.
  11. Tune Update?

That whopping 10/15lb-ft below 4k? You're not there very long anyway. What I'm saying is the stock S650 is going to be way closer to the tuned S550 from the factory, so you won't see much of an improvement. It's more aggressive of a tune than the S550's came with.
  12. Tune Update?

You think there's a half a second in the trans tune on a stock car? That's pretty optimistic. Like Hellcat levels of gain with a trans tune. Maybe one day we'll see.
  13. Tune Update?

@highvoltage why don't you let us know how much hp we will see from the Ford performance tune and when it finally comes out, we'll see if you're right? I bet it will be no more than 10 hp or so on the dark horse
  14. Tune Update?

the only thing you will see the removal of the neutering they did at the very top of the rpm range so they would make a couple more horsepower with the dark horse remember how the 2024's make the same power as a tuned 2023? Because its the same engine? If you're expecting the gains you see on...
  15. Tune Update?

Please tell me what I'm wrong about instead of trying to give me a cheap little insult. You're talking about the adaptability of the factory to not the conservativeness of it.
  16. Tune Update?

It's going to cost you 10 K anyway and the Whipple tune on the 2024 isn't exactly terrible. It's just leaving out the people who only want to spend 7000 bucks on a cheap centrifugal set up really
  17. Tune Update?

Neither of those things have anything to do with what I said we're talking about a stock car on 93 getting gains from just a tune headers add power no matter what the guys adding a little boost are also running race gas (the C8 guys did it too before they tuning was available)
  18. Tune Update?

They may never release one. The tune is a lot less conservative that the previous years so there's probably not much to gain.
  19. Tune Update?

Whipple tune...just like the 2024 Mustang Still can't tune the 2024 F150 The F150 engine is not the same engine as the Mustang. The 2023 Mustang engine is much closer to the 2024 Mustang but that doesn't matter, it's the computer that's the problem
