I almost replied thinking you were driving a GT getting 30mpg on the regular. That would have been genuinely impressive to me.
Alas, you're driving a good ol' EcoBoost, which is more than capable of getting that level of MPG regularly. ☺
Great advice, thank you very much for sharing that.
I've actually decided to hold back on exhaust/suspension mods now that I've test driven a Performance Pack with the handling kit (and possibly the progressive lowering springs) I was considering getting. The slightly better steering weight...
Simple answer: Post observations, receive and respond to feedback as needed.
(shrugs) I'm just comparing GTs to other vehicles I've test driven. A running log, if you will.
I'd prefer the Saleen S302's front upper grille personally, but the GTD's is (slowly) growing on me.
Now that GTD wing...I wonder how someone could make that for the GT, either where it is now or somehow on the decklid area.
The GT still speaks (sings, even) to me, moreso with the active exhaust than the standard one. "Cooled off" was probably the wrong term to use. I most likely meant "calmed down" in the sense that I now know exactly how I'd spec it (again, barring any new/returning colors in the future). As I've...
Ford Benchmarks Rival's Sport Sedan, A Potential Four Door Mustang Foe (fordauthority.com)
I wonder if they were to go this route instead of rematch-competing with the upcoming Charger again, would they even have a chance against Europe's best compact/midsize sports sedans?

Today I test drove a GT Premium Performance Pack with Magneride. The driving experience was good, a bit stiffer on bumps than non-PP GTs (yes, even with MR, but admittedly some of the roads here are in quite rough condition), yet more than acceptable for what the Perfomance Pack is designed to...
[Chroma Flame], Polymimetic Gray, Race Red, Shadow Black, Frozen White, and Lightning Blue...
...I wonder if Frozen White and Lightning Blue will replace Oxford White and Atlas Blue for the '25 model year for non-GTD Mustangs. I can't see Polymimetic Gray replacing Carbonized or Dark Matter.
It's one thing to have Dark Horses and GTs rent-free in your head...but having "fake 4-banger" Mustangs that real people drive in your head makes me wonder how big of a place you rented for all of them. 😁
I know 🙃, thanks for the reality reminder regardless. One can always dream though.
I...
On one hand I'd love to test drive a Magneride Mustang...but I know it's outside what I'm willing to spend on a GT and I'd want to keep a square setup as opposed to the Performance Packs staggered setup. That said, I don't know if square vs staggered makes a difference here or not.

Thanks @tj@steeda for the information! What do you recommend for improved handling while being as close to stock comfort as possible (if not exactly as or better than) for daily driving?
I would like to see the FP800S concept grill or a variant of the California Special grill without CS badging and no colored "nostrils". Either of those with an optional badge mount or install.
Just curious, are these discounts happening because of the upcoming model year change or is it simply due to Mustangs not moving as fast as dealers would like them to?
