With the new Capri I'm starting to understand why people were upset when the Mach-E debuted. I'm still hoping the "New Mustang Stablemate" is a car (not a crossover, SUV, truck, or van) that's different enough from the traditional Mustang to justify its existence.
Boy I wish they had a "clout chaser" paint option so I could get my GT in pearlescent baby pink, no I mean Gotta Have It Green Metallic.
Sadly/seriously, it would probably cost as much, if not more than the already available and expensive matte color option.
Optional question: Are metallic...
Rear visibility is worse on the convertible than the coupe. If you can live with that, more power to you. Noise-wise I didn't notice any difference between the two. And the non-PP coupe handles a good bit better than a non-PP convertible from my test drive experiences.
That's cool. My favorite Corvette was the C5 generation, followed by the C7. I prefer the coupe over the fixed roof personally on the C5. I've often thought about getting a 'Vette, but I imagine insurance costs more than a 2+2 seater. That and I'd have to go automatic. But at the end of the day...
I didn't realize how different the new EcoBoost is compared to the last gen. Maybe I should check it out sometime...🤔
🤯 20?! How did you like all of them compared to the 'Boost?
Physical A/C controls would've made the interior "amazing" in my mind. But seeing as I'm a "set it and forget it" guy with the A/C, not the worst thing in the world. Just gotta prepare thoroughly before driving.
Valid point. I was just thinking out loud, seeing how a lot of cars have CVTs as their standard transmission, with some sporty/sports cars offering CVTs as an optional transmission alongside a manual. What if Ford had gone down the same route with the Mustang for the sixth generation...
Part of me wants to wonder what it would be like if the EcoBoost ended up getting a CVT as the standard transmission and then they asked 1.5-2K for either the 10A or the 6M. 😝
Fixed it for ya!
On a more serious note @tcman54, Quiet mode on the active exhaust is quieter than the standard exhaust, and the standard exhaust is quieter than Normal mode on the active exhaust. From my experience there's zero drone regardless of what exhaust option you choose.
Steering feel...
Off topic (maybe), but are there any other places besides billetworkz that sell shift knob hoodies? I had no idea those were actually a thing until today and they look adorable.
