Interior Lookaround at 1:25 in this video
I'm not sure if this is CGI, but I think/hope this is likely the best representation of the Navy Pier interior outside of seeing it in person. Please correct me if I'm wrong!
If that's generic, color me impressed then! Considering 99% of my driving is "daily driving", I'll take better steering accuracy in exchange for lighter steering weight. But yeah, a heavier steering feel would be appreciated for the S650.
By the way, in the unlikely chance I upgrade to an Eco...
I'm glad I could be helpful, even if just a little bit. I won't lie though, the dialed in feeling on the S650 paired with the S550's heavier steering wheel feel would be ideal! (Maybe, can't say for certain.)
I would agree. Performance Pack or not, even in Sport mode it definitely feels lighter, very noticeably so. However, I feel more confident coming out of turns in general with the S650 GTs than the S550 EcoBoost I currently have. At least from my perspective, the steering input feels more dialed...
That's cool. Ultimately I'm more invested and interested in the Mustang, but maybe if my curiosity peaks I'll try out a Challenger R/T or Scat Pack and see for myself if it handles better than the Charger did for me at least. RIght now though it's not a priority.
I'm back and I apologize if this is considered off-topic, but is there a general consensus as to what comprises a vehicle's OTD price? And also in general, is paying MSRP a bad thing if you can afford it? (If not, how much percentage off the MSRP should I be looking for?)
Fair enough. I wasn't aware the 5.7 was a completely different experience from the 6.4. Oh well, the only reason I'd consider a Challenger is because it has an actually usable back seat...although now I'm wondering how the Challenger R/T handles for daily driving and occasional spirited driving...
Beautiful cars, @JaxBill and @MM24GT . The California Special in Oxford White would be my ideal GT build, minus the Performance Pack (I prefer the non-PP look personally, plus PP would place me outside of how much I'm willing to spend on a GT). Would either of you happen to have IRL photos of...
Um...do the Challenger and Charger handle/take turns at speed about the same? (specifically R/T and Scat Pack) I'm curious just because I saw some the other day and the R/T models were discounted significantly. I test drove a Charger R/T recently and wasn't impressed by the handling so I'm just...
Thank you for the explanation.
So to sum up, for a more comfortable/quiet ride, should I be looking for a tire with less width and more sidewall height on a square setup? (Still debating whether to go 18" or 19" on the wheels. And I'm sorry for being so slow to understand this whole tire/wheel...
Okay, I think I just realized that 265 or 275 is referring to the tire width, and 40 is referring to the tire diameter. I had them mixed up the entire time. Yikes...
On a related note, when I try to configure tire/wheel setups on Discount Tire/Tire Rack's websites, there are significantly less...
As of today, I think I've finished test driving all the GTs I need to. Everything else I'd be looking at would be purely aesthetic. I think the main takeaways from my test drives are as follows:
1. The tires on the S650 are likely better quality than my EcoBoost's Pirelli all-season tires (the...
Personally I wouldn't mind a 4-door sedan or liftback as long as it handles well with the Coyote engine. Could such a package fit in a Fusion-sized vehicle or would it have to be Charger-sized?
Strange. One of the GTs I test drove had it. And I know it had auto start/stop because I got startled the moment the engine turned off by itself. Fortunately it can be turned off, but I'm not sure if it can be turned off permanently.
But...but what if I want to debadge my future 5.0 and make it look like an EcoBoost? 😝 Or even better, try to convince everyone my GT is actually in fact a Priiiiius?! 😖

Thanks everyone. With all this information, I'm thinking of running a square setup with a 265 or 275/40R18. I could do 265 or 275/40R19 as well, recognizing that the larger wheel sacrifices comfort for a "nicer" tire/wheel profile. Problem is neither Tire Rack's or Discount Tire's website really...
