Good to know. Thank you Zengineer. I'm just curious as ever as to what the new/returning/retiring exterior colors will be, if any. (And if any other new noteworthy cosmetic packages will be offered.)
Edit: I found this at Element Fleet. Not sure how credible they are, but perhaps it's a glimpse...
Two weeks? And they haven't announced what's going on with the 2025 Mustang yet besides the one 60th Anniversary Package? That seems like a really quick turnaround, but I've no idea if that's normal for model year transitions.
Today I saw two Mach-E's in two metallic white colors, one in Space White and one in Star White. I think either of those two would be a nice option for the S650. (I assumed at first Space White was a rebadged Oxford White, but on closer inspection it has metallic flake.)
Star White (pearly...
@horned-toad, thanks for the 2K RPM advice. Shifts from idle have been noticeably smoother. How do you keep the car at 2K with the auto on Normal though?
A modest lunge of varying distances. It's annoying whenever it happens but ultimately not enough of a dealbreaker to consider a manual. Guess I'll be getting whoever it is you referenced to fix mine, whenever that happens. Hope your day goes better.
Now for contrast, here are my quick impressions for various S650 GTs I've test driven. (A summary of these is available in the original post.)
(All test drives so far were done with the 10-speed automatic.)
Base Performance Pack: First hands-on experience with the S650. The main things that...
Has anyone who owns a non-Performance Pack GT with the default gearing experience the vehicle creep forward suddenly and/or unexpectedly during gear changes at low speeds? I test drove one recently and while not as abrupt or harsh as my '19 Ecoboost (which that happens every once in a while, but...
Fair enough. I will admit I do like how the wing looks (just curious how much outward visibility is compromised). But while I could see it work on a GT or a Dark Horse, I'd feel like an EcoBoost having one would look like compensating for something lacking. (And I say this as the guy who owns an...
All right, I think I got a fresh new question for anyone who has knowledge on this. You know how dealers will sometimes offer or (if they're shady) even sneak in add-ons like interior protection? Is there anything besides a Ford Protect Extended Service Plan (PremiumCARE specifically) that may...
I finally got to see the California Special in person yesterday and I really liked it. This one was in Vapor Blue, but I'm thinking when or if the time comes I'd like to get mine in Oxford White.
I also got some photos of the interior. Not the best lighting, but it does represent what it looks...
I test drove the "skinny" version, although I will admit I prefer the looks of the widebody more. Something that baffled me was when the sales person essentially said the V8 Challengers would have worse handling than the V6 ones. Maybe that actually is the case...but while I could make the case...
I got to test drive a Scat Pack Challenger today and I was quite impressed. Nice throttle response at low RPM, decent handling considering its size, and of course the V8 sound. Noticeably felt better overall than the Charger R/T I test drove a short while ago. In the end though I prefer the...
