Bear in mind that Tremec recently announced that they developed a 6 speed to fit in the C8 Corvette that can handle upper power limits just shy of that which the ZR1 makes, and that it fits.
The GTD uses the same DCT as the C8. If the DCT is going to be a carryover, it stands to reasonably...
Slightly off-topic, but... for all the Molten Magenta orders I've heard of, I've seen exactly four on the road. One was an Ecoboost, and one was mine.
...Not that I'm complaining. The color is rare, and at risk of sounding like a Corvette owner, I like that. I have one of the few 2025 Job 1s...
Mach-E sold nearly 1000 units less than the ICE last month.
Huh.
Wasn't someone saying in some article somewhere that Mach-Es should be selling more than the ICE because they're an EV SUV, which is what the market wants right now? (Please don't mind me being smug. 😄)
Or maybe keep them where...
Have you driven the car hard prior to this?
I've heard this rattle a few times in mine, but only after a very aggressive spirited drive for an extended period of time. By the next time the car's cooled off it's fine.
One thing I'm noticing is the front rims are quite similar to what we've seen on the Cobra/Cobra-equivalent prototypes. If that's indicative of anything, I wonder if maybe there's parallel development going on... maybe this hotter GTD will lead to an immediate trickle-down effect. It's a...
Huh. I'd ask Ford or a dealer if that's normal.
I'd assume it still is, maybe it's trying to prime the heating element. Unsure - I don't want to give you the wrong information, so I'll stop there.
The first one is because it's trying not to blast cold air at you, assuming this is while the car is still cold. The second one I've never noticed, but the only time I've needed the high beams to come on for me was when I was tearing up a backroad late at night. 🤷♂️
You will definitely exceed 24 MPG. I have the manual with the 3.73, and when I get on the highway in 6th gear right after a refill, I'm approaching 24 once I'm up to speed.
When you're not hammering the throttle in these cars, they're surprisingly efficient. But, as mentioned, that's not why we...
I think the most likely car to come out of this in January would be something based on the Mustang. It's the one we've not only heard but seen the most of in recent times. I know Ford has been saying they want to be the Porsche of offroad, but we've yet to see or hear any based rumors about...
In my personal experience, AS/S has saved me as much as 3-5 MPG in my primary vehicle. I have almost never had it on in my Mustang, and the few times I did it was because I was actually not beating on the throttle, so I can't say for sure how effective it is in the Mustang.
I still don't think we're on the same page. 😅
While the 400 and 401A are one unified unit, they behave as two separate screens. It's not one screen, it's two separate screens integrated into a single piece. This is why the gauge cluster can fail while the SYNC screen still works, and vice...
If the direction that the current-gen Expedition/Navigator and Nautilus took is anything to follow, the Mustang may just do that. It would be interesting to see how they do it.
I think they meant a single screen that isn't split with a bezel in the middle. What we have now is basically a...
The area I live in doesn't have too many hills, but the city I commute to/from for work is full of them. This comment has convinced me - I will get a dedicated set of winters, and based on recommendations in here it will be the Michelin X-Ice.
Thanks, all!
Hey all. I had a question about this.
So I picked up my S650 a little over a month ago, it's been a blast. I've been paying attention to the weather patterns in my area and it's unusually cool for this late into August - I don't think we've seen sub-70 highs here since I was a very young child...
