Wow those look nice on the car!!!!
Nice louvers bear!! :like: Those aluminum ones are the best. I polished mine and now they are more of a semi gloss than flat.
Iām surprised you guys find the 1/4 window useless. Around here there are some intersections that are angled and that 1/4...
I had decided to go with Motorcraft synthetic for all future oil changes. Problem is they only come in 1 qt. Bottles. Each one can be between $10 -$15 depending on where you get it. So just the oil alone for my car will be over $100.
I could get 5 qt. Jugs of Mobil 1 for only $25 each and...
You remove the DH spoiler there will be exposed mounting holes. Like duff sez, there is now a separate module that bolts on to the trunk. You can drill fresh mounting holes in that.
Look on youtube for DH spoiler installation videosā¦youāll have all your questions answered.
Rear 1/4 window louvers have 100% visibility. No blind spot at all! I got my set for like $69 off CJPonyparts. They are really nice, but you must throw away the garbage tape that was included and get good quality 3M tape and 3M prep adhesion promoter.
My rear louvers are the aluminum ones...
I donāt have these. I have louvered.
What you are looking at looks cool, but be aware of the massive blind spot you will now have with those. Merging with traffic will be a nightmare.
I got my side louvers for $69 at CJpony and theyāre great and have complete visibility through them.
Best part is, if they do a shitty job, you can refuse the car until it looks good.
I donāt even hand washā¦I just spray with Quick Detailer and Quick Wax. But yeah Iāve been caught in light rain a few timesā¦pissed me offā¦.lol.
The worst is winter when they brine the road. Iām not doing that.
I canāt imagine my dealer service dept doing a clean job of pulling the windshield and recaulking it and smearing goop in welds Without making a mess of it.
Yeah, Iām good for nowā¦Iāll take the Lincoln out in the rain.
ā¦just summarizing I guess then. š
TBH, I never saw either symbol until I set the drive mode to track. Then I was also like, what the hell is this? I forgot to consult the manual after I got out of the car though, because my memory now rivals that of a friggin goldfish.
That is 2 different symbols.
The one with the line through it shows collision detector disabled, which seemed to come on in Track Mode by default.
The other has no line through it showing it is on and detecting a collision or just following too close.
This thread is a good time to remind people to go through all the driver aids in your menu system and decide how aggressive you want them to be.
I made all mine the least intrusiveā¦.I have eyes, hands and feet to control my car. I donāt need it deciding by itself when it wants to slam on the...
I get not wanting to spend extra money for different rims. I think your car really does look just fine the way it is. Iād like to see a full side view if you have oneā¦
If you want to make the most of that open wheel design, paint those calipers red..that would be cool.
If you are determined...
The wording is bad. Pretty sad for an official Ford statement. If they turned the comma into a period, it reads more like to test the windshield first, and reseal if necessary.
Iāve only seen (or noticed) this symbol in Track Mode, which makes sense for an anti-collision feature. No one needs aggressive driving nannies when actually on a track.
Nobody loves 5 spoke rims more than meā¦lol. I always wanted Cragars on every car I had.
But I also come to accept what works with the car.
The rims you circled look really nice! My personal preference would be getting those rims you circled in silver. Iām not a fan of black on black on...
My back doesnāt tolerate crawling under a car anymore, but my local dealer has an excellent mobile tech service my car right in my driveway.
That said, one thing nobody here should ever pay for is getting a new cabin air filter installed. Itās so easy and itās a $15 part a dealer charges like...
