Not to pile on, but yes, the recall applies to cars that have been built as far back as June 2024. There can be cars with 20,000 miles or more being recalled. Its not just new cars still sitting at the dealer.

Last I read… if the Mustang was built between June 2024 and July 2025, there’s a stop sale. Yet I bought mine in May because they didn’t issue the recall yet. The stop-sale is stupid as hell and somewhere Ford pissed off NHTSA in the past.

Louvers greatly limit the heat from the sun…. Get the good aluminum ones from CJPonyparts. I have a Ford cargo liner in my trunk as well, and I never noticed trunk heat even on the hottest days.
