  1. Check your swollen nuts!

You would think....in 2026....the manufacturers would have perfected something as simple as a $#@! lug nut. But nooooo, they get to save a few cents and pass the problem on to us.
  2. 2024 Mustang GT Car Cover

For inside the garage, I got this one....it's nice and fits well. $128. https://www.ebay.com/itm/395343735428
  3. Seat position

Glad you got it sorted out, but I thought it worth mentioning for everyone. If you have the rear seat folded down and Easy Exit/Entry enabled, the driver seat no longer has the full rearward travel it needs, and hits the folded down back seat. What resulted was the seat getting hung up, but...
  4. New to me, keyfob trick... automatic window roll down

Thanks...I must not have it enabled. Will check on that.
  5. New to me, keyfob trick... automatic window roll down

I tried it on my 25...didn't work. though I popped the trunk first before hitting unlock then clicking again and holding. Think I messed the sequence up?
  6. New to me, keyfob trick... automatic window roll down

Didn't know that one! Could come in handy for Summer.
  7. My 2025 Spec-R (810 HP)

Nice! You might want to look at Billetworkz for a custom shifter knob. Would really set off your interior. you can then get a custom shifter stalk which is super easy to install, looks better and the lockout button is now a knuckle drop instead of a thumb press.
  8. Summertime tire pressures - what counts as "cold" for setting tire pressure

OK I get the OP question. Set your cold tire pressure to the baseline of outside, not the car park. Think of it this way, if you parked your car in a giant freezer, your tires would be way out of wack when you got outside on a warm day. If you inflated your tires to 32 in the cold garage...
  9. Have you tried double tapping the gas pedal?

In the limited foot time I've been playing with this feature, I'm going to say one medium press will drop your gears and increase your throttle, obviously. But I believe the double tap drops the same amount of gears by depressing the pedal less. But it seems to be totally by feel and results...
  10. Have you tried double tapping the gas pedal?

I played with it a little more yesterday. Seems a light double tap brings you to 3000 RPM. and a firmer double tap takes it more towards 5000 RPM. Someone mentioned a few pages back that the target might be RPM's. He might be right?
  11. Introduction of my 2025 Mustang GT-Premium

Welcome! car looks sharp! Best color....lol. Red hash stripes...don't bother me. Looks OK.
  12. Have you tried double tapping the gas pedal?

Again, I'm releived this bit of knowledge was so well received. I just Googled it and apparently any Ford A10 trans will do this. Though I saw on Reddit some said any auto trans will do this, which I don't believe. Ninjack: It may work in your Raptor. If yours has the 10 speed, it is very...
  13. Have you tried double tapping the gas pedal?

It's an odd feature for sure! A quick double stab got a gear kickdown for me from a steady cruise. But rereading you said from coasting, so I guess you are saying it won't kick down if the foot is off the pedal to start with? I agree, it seems it's best feature is not being stuck in paddle...
  14. Change "My Mustang" Title on Infotainment Screen

Maybe...lol. I have yet to go somewhere I don't know how to. (I'm boring). 😐
  15. Have you tried double tapping the gas pedal?

I went from a 2006 GT to this 2025, and it was like going from the Flintstone mobile to a high tech spaceship. There is a staggering amount of tech features that are new to me....lol.
  16. Change "My Mustang" Title on Infotainment Screen

It would be cool if they allowed a custom name to be added to the screen. But then they would have to implement a touch screen keyboard, which would be way too much work for the beancounters? in 45 years of driving this is the first car I named. Though I did refer to my Prowler as the...
  17. Have you tried double tapping the gas pedal?

The last few comments sort of sum up the most useful feature of this double stab of the pedal. If you want to kick down a few gears but don't want to use the paddles and get stuck in Manual Mode for half a minute, or wanting to drop a few gears and using less throttle to do it. I swear this...
  18. Have you tried double tapping the gas pedal?

Thanks for the report Sprite!! I also noticed less of a result in Track mode but didn't explore it as much as you did. I think because Track mode is designed to hold a gear longer under acceleration to begin with? I am amazed at how few people know this (including me until 2 days ago) and...
  19. Have you tried double tapping the gas pedal?

Not sure.....lol. Zig might have the theory correct RE: Cars and Coffee exit disasters. Looking forward to your report as well! I would suggest to all: 1) While cruising, depress accelerator more (just once) about an inch.... You'll accelerate without dropping a gear. 2) Now double tap...
  20. Have you tried double tapping the gas pedal?

First off, Thank you guys for being cool in this thread! Sometimes I hesitate to post a thread because smart ass comments just wear me down. But a thread search here showed no mention of this feature and I thought it was an interesting feature to share. I would have never known until I saw an...
