Makes senseā¦thanks for clarifying!
Every OTA update the dealer had to do on my wifeās Lincoln was a minimum of 45 minutes, once an update got hung up twice before taking, she was glad she dropped it off that dayā¦.lol.
Itās funny you said that, because the manual emphasizes to start the car at least once every 2 weeks if storing.
Alsoā¦RE: Updating. Iām not 100% sure, but I think even getting an OTA update at the dealer, they put the car on a trickle charger to make sure it goes through.
They canāt sell a car under recall, but they sure as shit canāt take a car you took delivery of away from you. Iām angry just thinking about it.
Ford was just fine with me driving my 06 GT with two Takata airbag bombs for years until they had a fix for them. They canāt literally take your car...
Iām having trouble processing this. You took delivery of the car. They cannot hold it. You can pick up the car and take it back when they have the inspection procedure. Iāve had my car since May, and no effing way can a dealer take my car back and hold it until they figure out what to do.
LOLā¦I do drive a good 5 miles past the Dollar General just so it wonāt be a short trip.
The stigma I experienced was when I once bought a new Chrysler 300M and the dealer was so crooked, I was there 3 hours and still didnāt leave with the car. They told me to come back the next day. Well...
I want extra gluten! So much gluten I canāt shit for a week.
BTW: Car behaved today on a cold start. I explained it further on my thread āFavorite Drive Modes?ā
I started the car today, no clunk, all was normal. I drove it in Normal Mode, and even though I downshifted a bit with throttle and paddles, it behaved fine. I restarted it warm, and all was fine.
Something about driving in Track mode and the downshift braking must have created pressure in...
Good friend of mine has several Boss Hoss bikes. A full 350 V8 on 2 wheels! He gets on that throttle too. I donāt know how he does it. Bike weighs like 1,200 lbs! š³
Yesterday I drove in Track Mode, was fun, but when I stopped at the store and restarted it, it made a clunk and made an attempt to lurch forward slightly. (Em. Brake was ON)ā¦.and then my gauge colors reset to default. It was unsettling.
Research on posts showed itās diagnosed as leftover...
Iām a fan of cool cars, no matter the brand. If they still made the Challenger when I was in a position to buy a new car, I was ready to consider it. Though the Challenger is huge and might not have even fit in the garage.
Love this Mustang and happy I got it!
It looks good! I love my 20ā silver wheels but I can see why you didnāt like them with a white car. Kind of clashed a little.
Do you feel a cushier ride with the 19ās?
Iām curiousā¦does Superformance address the issue of room for the driver? I once sat in what I think was a Factory 5 Cobra and at 6ā, I didnāt fit in it. My head was above the windshield, and my legs had no room jammed in there with the steering wheel and wide trans tunnel. it was a moment...
Exact thing happened to me today. I havenāt cold started it to see if it went away. But after 2 more starts it didnāt clunk and lurch, but did it again if I engaged the A10 gears and parked it.
