Ryanās comments had me intrigued about trying Track Mode. I tried it today, and wow! it was really cool! IMO it was much better behaved than Sport Mode. I didnāt drive it hard, just in normal traffic, and it upshifted nice and evenly spaced shifts, not 5 shifts in the first 3 seconds like...
Oh damn, I misunderstood. I thought you had the spoiler circled. I get it now.
That module just wants to sit up off that edge and needs that tape on the edge to lock it down. You should have run a fat strip the entire length and loaded up both surfaces first with 3M adhesive prep.
Mine...
I donāt think water will enter the trunk, as the module is tacked on the the back of it.
You also said water enters the crevice, but might be stopped by the tape underneath. Until you actually see water leaking inside, Iād leave it.
The bolts should be more than enough to hold the spoiler on...
I think if you disconnect the battery, maybe also the adaptive shifting will reset to default. Meaning the shift points maybe will relearn your driving style. It did on my last car, so itās just a guess.
I knowā¦but itās tough to put a lot of miles on it when my back locks up if I drive for more than an hour. Though the seats are way more comfortable than my 06 GT, so I am slowly increasing seat time and seeing how it goes. In general my back does not tolerate sitting well. Itās frustrating...
Well it is a numbers game and driveline loss varies greatly. In my Prowler, it boasted 250 hp, but it such massive driveline loss, it only put out 160 hp at the wheels!
Awesome! Thatās more than most do. Re-read the manual after you have hands on the car, and some sections will make more sense.
Hope you get yours soon!
Yeah, I tried my best to go easy on it during break-in.
Transmissions are absolutely continuously adaptive. I mostly did gentle take-offs from a stop which resulted in being in 5th gear in like 3 secondsā¦lol. I noticed a more aggressive throttle tip-in lets the gears wind out more in the...
Good luck with your new car! Go slowly and learn itās features and quirks. Go through every option on your menu system and make sure you have all the features set the way you want.
Read the full manual!!! Read it before you get the car...
Interesting!
+1! I am hesitant to ever just stomp on it and see what happens. I have gotten familiar enough with Normal Mode to know how far down to press the gas pedal to get the desired drop-down gear for passing. It is proportional.
Almost done with break-in so plan to reprogram shift...
Being the visible tank is just an overflow, Iām starting to wonder if there are other factors deciding how much gets dumped back in it after a drive. Mine went down a little, but next drive it could be back up to Max.
Now losing as much as Roket might be concerning. š§
Iām more afraid of Traction Control on. I donāt like the idea of brakes being applied when I am still in control.
If you donāt mash the pedal while turning thatās 95% of the problem cured. I have gotten comfortable with Normal Mode as far as knowing how far down to push the pedal relates...
Froddogā¦I agree. Iām always looking for places to drive to. It has got me excited about driving again after driving my 06 GT for so long.
TBH, I have some bad back issues that can last a few days at a time and kill my enjoyment of driving. Long drives are also intolerable, so I deal with the...
