The "stock part" is an Air Design splitter sold at the Ford Accessory site. it looks good and has no clearance issues. The catch is that it only tapes on to the stock nub that sticks out front of the car. So you would have to bolt the stock front part back on to the car and then tape the Air...
I just broke 1K miles and he took pokes at me in several threads for not driving it enough. I'm going with "confused".
I'll never understand why this board was created for people to share their love for the car they own and share information about it, and like every other board, gets...
lol...I did know the transmission learned based on driving habits, but I was surprised to see how I shifted in Manual Mode affected the automatic Normal Mode shift points.
I didn't expect one mode to affect another...
When I drive my car in Normal Mode, under normal acceleration, it shifts quickly to the next gear before even hitting 2,000-2,500 RPM. So I'm in like 5th gear very quickly just getting up to 40 MPH approx.
So today, now that the car is officially broken in, I played in Manual Mode. Under mild...
That IS interesting! Now it is no longer called S and is M. And as soon as you pull back into it, you are in full manual mode. The first time I did it by accident and pulled out on to the street, and realized in horror I was winding up to 7K RPM in first gear....I knew I had to keep my thumb...
Either they removed it for 2025 because they wanted to save more money, or there were too many complaints of phones getting hot on the charger and Ford figured it was more trouble than it is worth.
2026 Mustangs no longer get the universal garage opener and lighted doorsills, so they shave just...
Just a frayed end of the wire loom, or whatever you call it...looks like it pulled out of the tape. a few wraps of electrical tape to secure the frayed end is all you need.
Oh zing! lol. But hey, if you got the Billetworkz shifter you would love the difference. The mechanism and just overall feel of it is so much better. 10 minute easy install.
Nice stable!
I bought and use this kit. Most of it is useful. You can see I used the mat in front of the shifter.

Awful hard on young kids here...The economy is not good, everything is expensive as hell, and the Mustang is a $50K+ car. When I was in college I was broke as hell all the time, and drove shitboxes that fell apart as I drove......and yes, I worked after school but all that did was buy supplies...
It's an automatic...lol. I got the shifter because I hated the thumb release at the top of the stock shifter. I constantly was pulling the shifter back too far into manual mode, which is a horror if you don't realize it.
In an auto, the Billetworkz shifter releases by knuckling down on the...
It's crazy to have a car that gets attention. When I had my Prowler it literally caused accidents from rubberneckers who rear ended the car stopped in front of them.
What did I do today? Finally broke 1,000 miles!
Ironically after trying all the other driving modes and seeing what the car is all about, I have settled into just Normal Drive Mode with Track Mode exhaust and Comfort Steering, along with TC off. At least Normal Mode is predictable for me in...
