oh man those were awful... 🧐😛
OK...this one is bad, but one of my favorites.
An explorer visits a remote island and visits the island chief. The whole time he hears ominous drumming in the distance. He asks..."Chief, what does that drumming mean?"
Chief: "When drumming stops....very bad"...
I always used my set of Rhino Ramps. They are this heavy fiberglass compound or something. They are heavy and have a dense support grid underneath. I had checked out getting new ones, they cheaped out with plastic crap ramps, that people reviewing showed them collapsing under the weight of...
for what Race Ramps charge, I'd complain.
don't trust just ramps, put some jack stands underneath for extra safety. Personally I'm done doing all that myself.
lol....What's a quart between friends? 🙃
I'll tell ya, I was impressed with the mobile tech, and that's the route I am taking. He even said he goes through the trouble to drain the oil vs. most people siphon on mobile visits.
My back won't let me crawl under the car any more, and just...
You could use slightly thinned enamel paint, it will level out nicely. use a fine brush and "pour" it in the valley with the brush point. Testors, Tamiya, Model Master, all work well. Or even decanted Rustoleum. Work carefully and clean.
Or sharpie markers if the indent is white to start.
I cringe every time I read a dealer service horror story. That's supposed to be the ONE place you think you're going to get quality service.
Last month my wife's Lincoln got an oil change at the dealer. I checked it when we got home and it was a full qt. low. I called and bitched, and...
For the garage, get a bump stop for the tire.
For parking spaces, line up the curb with the bottom of the side view mirror, and pull up a little more so the curb is about 3 inches back from the bottom of the side view mirror if you sight it along the top of your door.
or get a sensor....lol
Good point! I originally wrote that when I only had the car a month. As I've driven it more, I noticed what you said...it will hold a paddled gear longer depending on what you are doing.
As far as I know, there is no button or procedure to get it to resume to Automatic, except maybe easing...
Once in a while the car decides to reset some features....colors....settings....gauges...whatever it's in the mood to do.
Like Katzenjammer said...the colors do save on your driver seat setting on the door. I can confirm it does that.
The most annoying to me are the car keeps going back to...
I never use adaptive "cruise."
Unless you're talking about the adaptive transmission itself. Normal Mode had always shifted the same until I drove in Manual Mode and let it wind out more between gears. Then immediately after, back in Normal Mode it shifted at the same points I did in Manual...
No, I just tried driving in Manual mode, parked it, went into a store for 10 minutes, got back into the car, put it back into Auto, and the shift points completely changed to what I did in Manual.
Like I said, the difference was so noticable, it surprised me.
You might be right, but it can't be a coincidence. Adaptive learning is gradual, not immediately different after using Manual mode.
Next time I take the car out, I'm going to repeat the procedure and make a more solid observation.
All I can say for now ...is try it yourself and see if your...
IKR? That's what I thought too. But my car has NEVER wound out in each gear to 4000 RPM in Normal Mode, but it did it right after I did it in Manual Mode. Can't be a coincidence...
After using Manual Mode, the Normal Auto mode behaved completely differently. It was mimicking exactly how I...
