My first oil change was free from the dealership, except for the upcharge of $9.37 a qt. for the full synthetic. He stands by doing it the right way and double checking his work. He also risks injury or worse every day crawling under a car just held on by a floor jack and jack stands. He was...
I must have got my silver painted on a good day. No orange peel, clear coat is like glass. If there's defects I haven't spotted them yet.
If trying to photograph your defects, maybe have the PPF guys photograph them. Since they had the lighting to spot them in the first place. Ford does...
Just yesterday, I had a Ford Mobile Tech come to my house and change the oil right in my driveway. Appointment was made in 4 days. He arrived early and did a fantastic clean job. And yes, he drained all the oil out the drain plug, not siphoned. He was awesome, and it all took under an hour...
My 06 GT had really bad wind buffeting. This car is a little bit better. I just keep the windows rolled up.
If you want to roll the windows down and hang your arm on the door, you are going to have to go back in time about 40 years.
I can only assume the bigger wheels and stiffer tires put more of a flex on the chassis, which requires the strut braces. As pictured above, they only come as a set, so when I bought the strut tower brace I was forced to buy the set even though I didn't need the cowl brace as it was already...
I think the only time they have to replace the windshield is if they break it prying it up to check the seal, which is part of the inspection. But I think some dealers don't risk it.
I have yet to read of a windshield being broken or needing replacement, but not everybody who has a Mustang...
36 PSI. But know.....because my car came with 20" wheels, a metal cowl brace was installed at the factory.
Usually the cowl braces are plastic for 18 and 19" wheels....unless the car is a PP. but for 20" wheels they are metal.
My god what a clown show. Stay away from all those dealers for anything.
The 2nd dealer sounds the least awful option, though....
"Parts"....its a friggin tube of caulk.
you don't have to get it done if you don't think you are affected, or your car doesn't see much rain.
I don't have plans to have it done. My luck, the dealer will screw up more than they fix.
My 06 GT was lowered with Eibach springs. Looked so cool, but the stiff ride wore on me after years of driving it.
Every time I get in this car I still remark on how smooth the ride is. It's just such a huge difference.
This was the exact one. Perfect fit, good quality and only 15 bucks.

Agreed. Performance-wise, it's all there for me. By contrast, my 06 GT was sluggish and needed waking up with a CAI and a tune...that made a huge difference, but that was "only" 300 hp.
I get those who want to push the performance as mush as it can go, but I'm good with what Ford made here...
I originally wanted Vapor Blue, then was confused when I saw it in person. I wasn't even sure it was the same color I saw in pics. It was a cloudy day when I finally saw one on the lot, so I guess I just didn't see the color in it's true potential. Then I saw the silver, and it just popped...
