Remote rev is to hear the exhaust outside the car, so you are saying the enhancement is BS or.....I'm just confused what you are saying is BS.
The procedure just states the exhaust goes into track mode in remote rev for maximum giggles.
I didn't order mine..it was just sitting there on the lot fresh off the trailer with only 4 miles on it.
My mind is still boggled they feel they had to enhance the sound of a 5.0 V8.
and who are these friggin people who told Ford they would rather fiddle with clumsy screen icons to work the...
Though my infotainment screen doesn't bother me as near as much as I had thought it would, I miss knobs for AC/Heat adjustments.
They blame phones for distracted driving, but then put a friggin ipad on the dash and I now have sub menus to navigate just to do turn the AC up.
I have yet to see a definitive yes or no on this subject. The only thing that seems to be agreed on is ANC on convertibles and sound enhancement on the Ecoboost, to make the 4 banger sound sweeter.
having either on a GT coupe doesn't make sense.
That said, the cabin noise in my GT is eerily...
Looking it back over, you are correct, but the initial wording on the checklist is so ambiguous it makes my head hurt. They check the box marked "passed". Passed what?!?!
since I installed my Billetworkz shifter I have never pulled the shifter accidentally into Manual. The push down collar on the stalk is much more intuitive, and it eliminates accidentally pushing down on top with the thumb as on the stock shifter knob.
I HIGHLY recommend replacing the stock...
Ok they said they performed the recall. The recall includes removing the BCM and inspecting it. They should have found the corrosion then, so either they are lying or did the inspection with their eyes closed.
if they truly performed the recall as claimed in that sheet, you would see black...
There is a thread here that posted the 14 page official manual Ford issued on how to "fix" the issue. It sounds to me that Ford just can't source replacement BCM's. They'd rather put them in new cars and make that money.
You purchased a used car from a Ford Dealership on Oct. 1 when the recall was officially issued at that point. So they knowingly sold you a car with an open recall that wasn't fixed before they sold it. They figured they would get it sold and then it's your problem.
Demand your money back...
Know that 20" wheels come with a metal cowl brace from the factory regardless of performance pack option. My ride is fine but I guess the stiffer tire puts more flex on the chassis.
Yes it's very possible, but be careful shifting back into Auto from Manual while driving. The shift selector has some slop to it, and if you can accidentally move the gear selector into neutral. It doesn't lock into neutral, but it does hit the edge of it...enough to scare the crap out of you...
I just hate appointments and since every dealer seems to do it differently with different methods and time frames, it just seems like a BS bandage fix.
I keep disabling the motion sensor in the menu system but every time I check my settings, it's enabled again, but doesn't ask on exit.
also ....it keeps defaulting to emergency braking and steering. I don't want the car to decide when to brake or steer on it's own. I'm in the car with my eyes...
Nothing wrong with a 5 amp charger, but nothing wrong with a 2 amp or even a 1.25 amp. It's just time. and lower amp is a gentler charge, but 5 amps seems to be the sweet spot.
My 1.25 Battery tender will always bring my battery to green overnight. But I use it regularly. I do have a 3 amp...
Best I can figure out is to research a portable rechargeable power supply you can plug a maintainer into. so basically using a battery to maintain your battery. Now where you are able to safely store it is another issue.
