The melting point is determined by the composition of the plastic. It is likely that they will hold up just fine. I hope so, I just ordered one.

Just got this custom Grabber Blue pony for the engine bay. To me the blank space above the lettering needs something, and all the custom plates online don't match the color. Is it too much bling? I haven't put it on just yet.

I'm also considering having the plenum cover painted.

It looks great! I think I will order a red one as I am probably going to accent my Shadow Black with red. Glenn

Considering the heat generated by the engine, it seems to be made of a material that can withstand high temperatures, such as PETG. It's a neat dress-up.

Here is the only convenient picture I have of my 2019. I had the engine cover, intake cover and strut caps painted. The strut caps have the ponies painted black. It really makes the engine compartment pop.

I don't think it looks bad. I've given thought to adding some things to my engine bay, but I'm at the point in my life where less is more. I went the carbon fiber route on my Corvettes, which cost a fortune. Going to leave the Mustang alone and enjoy it for what it is.

When I bought my 2019, I was into national Mustang shows and wanted to create something unique. I found that it was easy to create, but hard to maintain. Some modifications do not work well with street use. Ever have an encounter with an armadillo and a low spoiler? Not to mention parking lots. Engine compartment dress up is usually a good way to make an impact at shows, but a little can go a long way.

Wow! Never thought about hitting my cars chinny chin chin on an armadillo. That's gotta be loud. Did you at least pick up the armadillo, that it home and make Texas style armadillo tacos? They're armadelicious.

Yes, I will probably do that too. I know a paint shop that I can take the cover to.

I did ot on my 2015 Ruby Red GT and it looked amazing.
