I live in Korea, and Korea is fairly lenient about full window tinting. To cut to the chase, tinting doesn't help much with heat management. It's not the sun beating down; it's the heat radiating from the dashboard that gets too hot.
Considering the heat generated by the engine, it seems to be made of a material that can withstand high temperatures, such as PETG. It's a neat dress-up.
