Greetings to all.
I am reading this forum every day over a year now. Preparing for my new Mustang order which should take a place today. So celebrating and going to make new order far away from home into germany, where best offer was made. Upon arrival to ford dealer today, I came into shock! Last week, all orders for new cars were closed and no more orders for Europe to be placed anymore from now on - as per the dealer. According to them they had no info about it coming, and they don’t know whether imports of s650 would come back to life again. That’s a horrifying scenario for me! I had no choice though, I had to take one of the stock of last delivery awaiting to be cleared in Cologne in germany. Of course in different color I had wished. I see Mustangs in stock at dealerships are being rapidly sold out and therefore is far less to choose from than just few weeks ago! Please let me know what do you think, if that is true for all EU countries… ? It seems the last and shortly standing muscle car here came to the end so fast without notice. I wonder whether it is EU response on US harsh import cuts, or upcoming Euro 7 in Nov 2025. I also heard rumor from ford, there might be brand new Mustang generation coming to Europe in future. I don’t know what to think. Well… please, what are you thoughts?

Sorry to hear your Mustang order got jammed up! Until all this tariff garbage gets sorted; there is likely to be quite a bit of what you are experiencing for many of us on both sides of the Atlantic. 😪

I bought my GT off the lot last year; as an order with all the options I wanted was estimated to take 6-8 months and would put me into the 2025 production run with the price increase that would come with it. I got the color I wanted to order and 3 of the 6 options.

You're likely to have to do the same or walk away from a Mustang for now. Perhaps one of our European forum members will be able to put you onto a Mustang in their area that you want? Did youask your dealer to call around/search the Ford Europe dealer sites to see if anyone had a Mustang close to your needs in stock? If not, and it were me, I would sure give that a try.

Best of luck getting it sorted to your satisfaction! šŸ‘

Hi Wiley,
Thank you for your emphasis.

I didn’t take the chance of not getting anything, so I got the configuration I wanted apart from color. The Molten Magenta was a dream and I was waiting for this color to be released to order here in EU, which was this January/Feb. I was waiting too long. The dealer checked all around germany and there was not single one with Magne and AT trans. (EU has all 401A spec as base). So I booked this spec. in yellow, which is now standing in german Cologne (Kƶln). It will be transported to my dealer in 12 weeks from today. My wife wanted the yellow from beginning, so it is disappointing to me only. Thinking backwards, I am happy I am able to get any new Mustang at all.

Have you tried a different dealer in your country and asked the same thing or is this just information from 1 dealer who said this?
Honestly, just this particular dealer. However he is one of the strongest - mustang offering wise.
Now you make me think…
Do you think this could not be truth just to get me one of the stock? How stupid I am. I will give a call to some others to support my statement. Thank you for the idea.

I think it's not true. But I always can be wrong since the United States is making tarif war with the whole world right now and things change in just a couple of days.

But still the chance that this is true is 5% since this information would be spread through official channels before you could have the chance to be the first to spread this info.

But if it's true, you are the first person who knows this haha.
Just go to another dealer and try again and you will find out.

Maybe the orders stopped at that dealership only.

Ok… interesting. I am learning. Just please could you provide me with possible reason why would some particular dealer stop orders? To sell their stock or?
I have no clue. I have a Ford dealer in town who sold Mustangs, but now they don't sell them anymore. I'm from the Netherlands and the Mustang GT starts from 137.400 Euro / 155.600 USD.

The car doesn't sell that much because of the insane high price, so they stopped selling them.
But some dealers still sell them.

@GrabThatBlue ..... I salute your efforts to help fellow Mustang brothers get the cars they want in Europe. That said, I don't appreciate your political comment that "the United States is making a tarif (sic) war with the whole world." I lived in Europe for four years and was well aware at that time that even the most basic statistical analysis showed that Europe had been screwing America with utterly unfair trade practices for a long time and is now whining like a bunch of scalded cats since the United States has said enough with the B.S. It's about time Europe got some of its own medicine back. My advice to you is to stick with Mustang advice and forget the political/financial comments out until you are better educated.

Whaaat the F?
$NZ260,000! $167,000 more than I paid for mine. That's ludicrous.
And, they have ponies not horses over there.

We know the Mustang just had the worst sales year in it's history. Perhaps the orders from Europe were simply too low to justify.

Regarding the tariffs, they are still rather low compared to the past.
