Does anyone have a lead on exhaust tip covers for the active valve exhaust on the S650? I found one listed in another thread but they have been sold out for a long time. I hate the cheap looking, thin walled chrome tips. I guess I could paint them black but that doesn't solve the thin and cheap looking issue. I have seen the slip over option that cost $400+ and con't even cover the original tip. not interested in those. Any help is appreciated.

I would like something more like these.

I have also been looking all over for exhaust tip covers, I found some on temu that fit but before I could order them they sold out and now no longer have a product page.

Someone could make a lot of money selling these for the S650's.

Why is everyone wanting covers?
Just for the blacked out look?
Or is the OEM stainless looking really bad over time & getting discolored due to heat?

Mine look fine after 56,000 miles but they are sharp. When cleaning the car I worry about them cutting my hand. And that is why I am not spending several hundred because it is just annoying but not that big of a deal.

I feel you. I'm not a fan of the Chrome and wanted black tips on mine, but that wasn't an option. I'd hate to have to cut off mine and then have to get black tips welded in place.

I have been looking for something as well. For a $1500 option i hate the extremely cheap looking tips that the car has. Why wouldnt they give us some nice rolled tips for that premium paid for the option.
I had my car at an exhaust shop getting my Xpipe welded in and asked if they could cut and weld in new tips. The tips are one to close to the valve it seems and also the one has a slight kink in the pipe that also makes it difficult to get straight on the tip.

Because the factory GT tips look really cheap and have sharp edges.

They did a better job with the non active exhaust tips... what's the problem when adding two more?
