These cars are gonna be so awesome!

honestly in the 110k range nothing on the market compares…. At all.
They’re going to be awesome for sure, but I think you could make the argument that the Grand Sport X is a great alternative: yes it’s down about 100 hp, but it’s lighter and mid-engined, with AWD traction. Base MSRP is 112K or so, so it’s in the same ballpark. Different strokes and all that though. Personally, I think they’re both awesome options.

Having had three C8's two Stingrays and a Z06 with an Eray on order that I cancelled. I agree 100% about the GSX and I would have considered it - except getting an allocation for one is near impossible. They aren't going to start building them until late 27 and I personally like the extra cabin room in the Mustang (fits me better - long legs) and I'm more of a traditional muscle car guy (rear wheel drive) also being that I don't drag race or care to - I'm not concerned about instant power or AWD. Plus, the price difference for me would be more like $21K because I basically got the base DH SC and paying MSRP at $111,393 vs somewhere in the neighborhood of $132K for a 2LT GSX. So money was a factor but not the most important factor.

I will revisit and consider one in a couple years after the hype cools off.

The E-Ray or GSX with it's AWD and V8 hybrid system at least justifies a little over the $100k price to me. The DHSC pricing is asinine for what you get. My problem is I don't fit in the C8s, the roof is too low.

There are a ton of NEW Erays on lots around the Country and if I was to consider the GSX - I would just opt for an Eray (same car different engine obviously) but HP numbers pretty close and I'm sure you can get a deal on one of those. So if'in you don't care about badging a leftover Eray is the way to go

Yes, if I had fit, I would likely be in a E-Ray right now just based on the drivetrain and performance vs price. Also though, the Dark Horse just looks much better to me than the C8s do. And it seems like every old guy has a C8 around here, S650s are relatively rare still and mine is the only DH I've seen so far locally.

I like to disassemble things.
I inquired today. Dealers still have not been given information as to program specifics regarding what their allocation(s) are limited to in terms of whether a TP order will be accepted or not. They were told that information will come some time in July. Dealers can submit all the TP orders they want in the meantime. They just won't be built. And customers that thought they were getting one are gonna be pissed. It's a really shitty situation.
