So I bought some takeoffs (2024 GT) rims for my 2024 ecoboost premium and was wondering if y’all think I need or should use some wheel spacers?

Here are the rim and tire specs:

Any info is greatly appreciated.

If you want them to sit flush with the fender, yes. Not sure on the exact spacers to get. I believe it would be 20-25mm but someone could correct me if I’m wrong.

Ok awesome thank you.

Do you think if I put them on without spacers just for a week or so until I get some that they’ll rub on my fender liners?

I’m mainly curious because on my 2019 I ended up getting the 2019 performance pack rims and they ended up eating a whole in both of my fender liners, after realizing it someone told me to use I believe 10mm hub centric spacers and that fixed the issue.

Guess I’m just trying to avoid that whole scenario from happening again if possible.

Interesting… I don’t believe that should happen unless there’s something different with the suspension from an Ecoboost to a GT or even a PP/Brembo package car. Were you lowered on the previous car? And are you lowered now? You shouldn’t have any issues but I’d mount them on first and look to see if there’s any sort of clearance issues

I do 1" hubcentric spacers on all my mustangs. MAKES the look of the car. Absolutely necessary. I did them on my last PP car with these wheels and it looks perfect.

Not lowered everything stock and only options i’ve had on both are the premium package that bring leather seats etc.

I’m going to try them on tomorrow and see how the clearance looks and will report back.

Thanks again

Wow yeah that really does look perfect. Do you have a link to the spacers you are using?

I got the rims with the tires on ebay from the seller bjessesports, they shipped super fast with no issues from texas for a great price

So excited to try them on tomorrow thanks for sharing

Spacers are not needed for those wheels unless you want them for looks. There will be rubbing. 👍🏻
Mine didn’t rub. Stock PP wheels with the 1” spacer looked perfect and didn’t rub anywhere. My car wasn’t lowered tho either.

So I had a few minutes to put the front ones on and there seems to be no rubbing

Definitely changes the look, I will be putting the rear two on tomorrow
