I have a 2024 Ecoboost performance pack. If I tune it will it gain some HP and/or torque?

And if so, can you point me to a good tuner.

Thank you.

Oh yeah, the Ford Performance tune is a good safe tune, warranty even if installed at dealer or ASE shop. You may get a bit more yet with a custom tune if you are into adding parts or have E85 available.

You can tune and boost one upwards of 500 HP (stock innards) with an E85 tune and the requisite parts upgrades. But I wouldn't if it is a daily driver.

I've had the FPT tune for nearly 8 months, and the difference is all but astounding. The mileage in 'my' driving situation increased from ≈18 to ≈20 and a fraction. The 0 to 60 was reduced by nearly a full second, and the drivability by a large margin. The biggest change in feel happens on the lower end, where a daily driver needs it to be. You will indeed get your monies worth!

Since the jump in fuel pricing, I have been running my EB on 89 octane and the the car seems to run just fine. I see the FPT performance tune rating is based on 93 octane. Can you run 89 octane with the FPT without a significant impact on the HP rating?

The 2.3 ecoboost makes decent power with a good tune alone. While not a Mustang 2.3, I had mine tuned by Stratified tuning and it changed the smoothness and power delivery significantly.

And turbos excel with E85. The Ecoboost is no exception.

I do not know where the limits of the stock block, pistons, rods and crank lie. This guy is discussing 400 horsepower at the wheels. Note he does not discuss the S650 until almost the end of the video (11 minutes or so). Bottom line is that the S650 is a lot easier to hit 400 at the wheels than the S550 due to a lot of upgrades to the Ecoboost in this generation.

It's even easier with the S650... turbo is larger... stronger rods and pistons. EMS has tuned to well over 400HP. They also have quite a bit of info on the new 2.3L in the S650. Their target is a reliable 500HP on stock block... don't know if I can do that without E85 though!

Our test car features:

Stock Tune Results: 304 whp / 368 wtq

93 Octane Tune – Tuned by Ryan
  • Output: 357 whp / 430 wtq
  • Gains: +53 hp / +62 wtq over stock
  • Boost: 23–24 psi (held to redline)
  • Stock boost: ~21–22 psi tapering to 18 psi up top
Ignition timing is conservative at just 3° peak — safe and street-ready. For the S550 to achieve similar power, a turbo upgrade was typically required.

Full E85 Tune – Tuned by Ryan
The S650 EcoBoost runs full E85 on the factory fuel system — no upgrades needed.

  • Boost: 26 psi
  • Output: 412 whp / 485 wtq
  • With factory air filter removed: 421 whp / 489 wtq
The DI system maintains 5,000 PSI across the pull, showing just how capable this new fuel system really is. On the S550, you’d need a full fueling overhaul to achieve similar results.

We’re currently torque-limiting this setup during testing — so there’s even more room to grow.

Thank you I am looking at getting it in Canada, as the site you gave me doesn't ship here. Waiting for the dealer to call me back
