So I am back! Been a while. I've been doing other things, running around in my BRaptor, getting the classic together.

So, where to start? The last time I was active here I had a 2017 GT350. Well, since then, I purchased a 21 GT500, I made the mistake of selling it, decided the 68 and the BRaptor were not scratching an itch, so I went back on the search. I had first thought I would purchase another GT350, an R this time around. Then I remembered, as some of you long-time folks may also remember, my GT350 going boom, and the fight I had to get the engine replaced. Then I thought, hmm get another GT500...or maybe a Super Snake....The GT350 (SoA) doesn't look bad, but again, I thought, well, hmm...I want to row gears again (GT500 out). The Super Snakes are really expensive, and the ones I found were auto...also I was not a fan of paying close to 100k for a 2020-2022 vehicle...Super Snake or not.

So that brought me to start looking at the S650. I have not really paid much attention to them because some I did not like the styling. Others, ok. So I bridged that gap and started my research. I found that the DarK Horse was the reincarnation of the GT350 in spirit. Tremic, 5.0, handling, it's a place to start. So I decided that this would be the platform. I searched and I found a setup. I'm pretty happy with this choice. So now, this will be it. I will be back, not with an Shelby, but with a Dark Horse. A WarHorse.

Nice build! Did you utilize the oil temperature sensor port on the new oil pan and put an aftermarket oil temperature gauge in the car so you know the actual oil temperature?

That’s a sweet build, could you share some more pics so i can get an idea of the wheel fitment? I’ve got the dual rate springs on mine and considering getting some HP wheels for it

I will. I am running Goodyers F1 305s up front and 325s out back. No rubs, all fit well.

Dreamlist of mods 🤤 Does that rear spoiler fit the existing fitment holes for the DH spoiler?

Have you fitted all of those parts already or are you doing it over time as a project?

Yes, everything in the list is ON the car. That spoiler fits the DH hood, and there is a CF piece that covers the middle holes.

Did you notice a big difference in handling and grip after installing all of those STEEDA mods?

Curious. How far below the cost $$$ of a Dark Horse SC does this car come in at?
Hmmm I would say, for a 2024 Dark Horse, what it is going for now, I would say I am in it for about 25k+ over a DH performance pack. A my25 would be less of course, and so on.

Have not had a chance to put it through the paces, but the grip from a takeoff is very noticeable. Also grip out of cornering.

Thanks. This brings up the debate of those that say go SC vs DH + whipple. The suspensions bits are phenomenal and your car is tastefully done. Have you weighed the car yet? I'm sure all of us would like to hear your feedback on the driving experience. 👍

It is indeed a discussion to have. I will get my wheel time soon and will come back and let people know. Since I have had a GT350, GT500, and now this Dark Horse, I should be able to give some comparisons. My Gt350 and GT500 were modded. Perhaps not to this, but modded all the same.

Haha, I just realized I left out my Hood. Anderson Composite GT4 Hood.
