They do look good, but get your point on the price.

as someone who has been looking at wheels as well... apex wheels are good and offer some of the best lightweight wheels for the track but are way too expensive, and don't even try to price for 20x9s, which is what you want with s650s anyways, or so with apex. you're spending about $1k a wheel at that point.

if you like the design, you can EASILY find something way cheaper that will give you the same look. i wouldn't be spending more than what you pay monthly on each wheel, assuming you have your car financed. you can easily pay for a bougier brand with that kind of money. if you like it for the weight, id say the same thing as before.

They are a nice looking wheel and apparently...

Richard is running our VS-5RS in 20x10 ET35 and 20x11 ET52 in Satin Black
Although, I am not sure those are actually satin black. They look more like Anthracite to me.

Agreed, they're nice! I almost bought the 18" enduro version during their tax return sale to pair with new RE71RZs for autocross this season but then I found RE71RSs significantly discounted to go on my current tridents to hold me over. I may pull the trigger around black Friday.

It seems like pretty much everyone is making a similar design but out of all the different brands I've looked at, I prefer the look of the Apex's.

Apex is also apparently the only place making something in a staggered setup that's going to allow me to keep my original tire sizes, but only in their Forged Sprint line. Flow formed is more reasonably priced, but my tires won't fit them correctly.

I currently have 10.5" and 11" wide wheels to accommodate the 305/315 tires the car came with.
The 10" wheel (that comes in every other staggered setup) is too narrow for a 305 tire.

One thing I like about the wheels you are considering is that none of the spokes are parallel to another, but rather each is somewhat radial in direction. (Especially on the outer portions of the spokes is what I like.)
But...everyone has their preferences and that's quite okay.

I am going to get a set, but 11" wide all four so that I can rotate tires (same offset as rear on front with a spacer to make up the difference). And in bronze.

Note that they have sales around Thanksgiving and one other time where they drop the cost a couple of hundred bucks.

I do like the thought of a staggered 11.5 and 11" set up like you have in your screenshot, though.

i can confirm that apex runs a black friday deal. they also drop their S&H fee. I bought these in 10x19 & 11x19 in satin black for black friday 2025. total out the door came to 3090$. Not as cheap as LMRs forged option but i think they look a little more sophisticated. theyre also a bit lighter.

Still expensive.

I have the LMR SVE DHP1 (19") and they look great! However, with the Steeda Sport Progressives, a Supercharger and 19" rims my HP DH rides a little low so am exploring a new suspension and wheel setup this year.

I spoke with JJ (@Apex Wheels ) and we discussed the 20x10 and 20x11 but they ARE expensive. $4000 without the sale. During the sale I think it's $3600 USD.

yeah im the same with vossen, everytime someone tells me about a wheel that has a similar look i just go back to whatever i want from vossen since i think they look better and are the same price as what people usually recommended me in my own thread about wheels.
