The Drag Mode shifts are brutal enough to shake loose some fillings! They're also rather hard on the innards, so don't use it as a daily driver setting.

The 10r80 is really an incredible unit, especially slapping through gears WOT…

I use drag as my preferred shift indicator, but still haven’t hammered it in drag mode. May do that today haha

(pointless fact) In drag mode you can't turn on cruise control in a manual transmission.

I discovered this when I made a profile for Drag as the mode and comfort as steering etc I dont remember exact details, but I was on the highway, and I had to go back to sport mode for Cruise control to work, I did laugh finding this out.

I was testing the throttle responses of the different modes driving to work.

Not pointless to those with a manual. :)

What smug comments? We all know the A10 shifts faster than the manual in a straight line. Manual is the way to go for a muscle car
Actually the point of a muscle car is straight line speed... so an auto would be preferable... a sports car is about the "connection" or driving experience, so a manual would be best... luckily the Mustang can be either or both!
