Its cheap auto zone crap. Spray wax in general is a gimmick. Just because some Ferrari "dealer" in Florida uses doesn't mean its good. Its means they dont know any better. Any professional detailer would question this product and your application process. A proper sealant or topper is light years ahead. But its your car. You do you. Just dont feed people bad information because you dont know any better.
Whatever... read. It's Ferrari of Newport Beach California. And the picture was taken in Newport Beach California. I could care less what you think. I'm simply reporting back on what they use on their brand new showroom cars (It's not "some" Ferrari dealer ... stop trying to act like it's some used car dealership... clearly you don't know what you're talking about. It's a major factory dealership).

So you know more than they do. Got it.

What I can report back is that the stuff is amazing and it works perfectly. In fact, better than advertised. Stay old-school... what ever. Ignorance is bliss.....

I don't have a horse in the race. I could care less what you think. But the 488 is a LOT more expensive than the S650 (any S650), and the 488 is cheap compared to the other cars in the showroom. And that's what they use exclusively, and what they used on the white 488 for 8 years.
Do yourself a favor... go to Amazon and buy a bottle and try it. Then you can talk about it up or down. At least you'd talking from an informed perspective.

Lastly... your implication that a factory Ferrari dealership doesn't understand how to professionally detail is a joke.

Oh I know exactly what im talking about. You on the other hand need and education about detailing. I could go put armor all on a Lamborghini and it doesn't make it a great product. I dont give two shits who puts what on a Ferrari in Newport. I can guarantee you wont find that shit anywhere near a factory in Italy. Like I said, do what ever you want with you car. And if you didn't car what I thought, you wouldn't be responding. 😉

That's what I initially thought. Then one day my car detailer (who works for Ferrari) was doing my 488GTB and this is what he was using. The stuff is amazing. There is something in it that coats the dirt particles in a way they don't scratch the paint... at all. zero. And it puts a light coat of wax on the car at the same time. You can feel it. Just spray on, wipe off. Dirt goes to the rag (I use costco white terry cloth rags...). Will not scratch the paint even on a filthy car. I use it also on the headlights/tail lights, and even the black trim (splitter/diffuser/side skirts). No white residue either. Use it on the wheels (rims) too. I ran out and tried a couple of other brands that claim to do the same thing but they don't. This stuff is like magic. I rarely go to car washes any more because of this. You will love it
I think I will stay with a good car wash, water, and a clean micro wash cloth. I used some of this waterless car wash and did not have really good results. I like the water cannons that give you a nice soapy base and good rinse with a soft water absorber dry cloth. Just feel I have much better results. To each his/her own.

Trust me... get a bottle and try it. You'll be 100% shocked.

Yes. And make sure you rub a dirty rag in a circular motion. You'll be 100% shocked! Trust him, he's been involved with Ferrari! 😉

I bought one today. I never close myself off until I experience it myself. Got it at Autozone, about $14.00. Will try it on my Dailly Driver first. Will let you know in future what I think.

I bought one today. I never close myself off until I experience it myself, could be good, could be bad. I still prefer Pinnacle Products . Got it at Autozone, about $14.00. Will try it on my Dailly Driver first on the lower sections to see what happends. Will let you know in future what I think.

I get it.. doesn't make sense. But it works.

Go out and do your roof or hood right now.

@tankcj - to answer your original question, factory baked finishes can be waxed right away. Spray waxes are a decent short term product for a finish that has already been sealed or treated. By themselves they will look shiney, but won't last long or be that effective in protection.👍🏻

Edited to quote the OP.

Well we all know professional detailers buy their products on Amazon.
And Factory Ferrari doesn't know how to detail their cars. yeah... got it. You're smarter, more educated, and more informed than they. You should apply for a job there!
