Oh Boy! That is a big subject. @DFB5.0 is our resident detail guy. So many things to learn to do it right! I don't know if he has any step by step instructions, but I'm sure youtube would have something.

I know this might be a stupid question but I haven't ever had a car worth waxing and want my car to look nice for a car show this weekend. Any tips on how to wax my car? What to use, etc or good videos to reference?

Thank you
My best answer to your question is to call the "Collinite" people, ask for someone with technical experience in using their product and you'll get some very good advice from the manufacturer of a great product. Quick and easy....... 315-732-2282. I use Collinite with amazing results.

There are tons of YouTube videos you can watch online about proper wash and wax techniques.

If you are a novice, the best advice I can give is that a proper cleaning prior to wax is esential.

And for the record - every car is worth waxing. 👍🏻

YES!! Claybars make a big difference with now and then use. Follow up with Collinite paste wax or Collinite 845 and not have to do it often. @CRC123 is right. My three cents.

Mustang Mental,

There are, as I'm sure you've already seen, as many methods as there are Mustangs. Personally, I never "wax" my car. I'm way too old for that. I'm including pics of the product I use. I only use a ceramic spray that I spray and apply myself. It is amazingly easy and requires very little product. The bottle is 16 oz. I have done my entire car twice, and I have only used between a quarter and a third of the bottle.

I took the pics today after doing a 5-hour road tour. So in the pics, you can see some dust. I have not cleaned the car since getting home from the trip. Also, the pics were taken in my garage at night. As you can see, the reflection in the pics is quite good considering the car has not been cleaned. All the pics were taken while the bottle was on the hood. When the car is clean and a fresh coat of the ceramic spray is applied, the bottle will not stay on the hood. It just slides off. Another benefit is bird crap doesn't stick either. You can just wipe it off with a soft rag. The same thing happens with "most" squashed bugs.

The website <www.unicorncarcare.com> is where to find all his products.

By the way, the blue car on the website is his wife's. She has won Best in Show at three shows I've gone to. She obviously only uses his products. Glenn
