It's like any other vehicle; you get used to it. I got my wife a Lincoln a few years back and it has push button transmission selection on the dash. I use it as a backup sometimes if she's not using it. No, it's not 'natural' because my other vehicles are different, but it works for her, she drives it daily.

When you start caning the car to extract performance, that rotary dial shifter is something you will not even think about.
I bet nobody “loves it” they just accept it and it becomes a reason to trade the car few years later. I would be curious if anyone actually likes the dial. I actually like the piano key shifter more than the dial. My wife also drove a lincoln briefly.

I like to disassemble things.
I figured the title would change to "NOT" when the price was announced but this was even sooner than that.

not a fan but I surely wouldn't trade the car over it. my work truck is a 2010 expedition. i think that style squeeze and pull shifter would be awesome, with a manual gate to the side so you could slam the shifts or use the paddles. would make manual guys feel more involved also.

Oh SNAP.

Your sounding like the kid in 7th grade who wrote a check with his mouth that his ass now has to cash and replies with "my big brother will kick your ass!" right before being sent to the nurse crying with a fat lip.

What are you still doing here, anyway? Serious question.

You just took an ass reaming on selling yours IIRC and have been doing nothing but shít talking the car and Ford ever since.

Maybe get a hobby?
C5 / C6 Vette is an awesome track car, maybe pick one up used? And don't overspend this time.

Seriously, it's getting tired. Before you respond in anger, think about the ROI. Do you really think you're winning hearts and minds here, making friends, winning folks over to you?
I get it, you bought a car, needed to sell it RFN and lost money. It hurts. I feel bad for you, it's truly unfortunate. But you're wallowing in negative thoughts over it. There is no way around, there's only through. You've gone through denial, but stuck in anger. Hot foot it through bargaining, depression and get to acceptance. Your quality of life will improve dramatically.
You truly ARE the nastiest old person on this forum, on, and on, over and over, ripping folks, and the Moderators let you roll with your foul mouth, and talk. I bet you hold the record for being the most blocked name on this board, good grief go hit the bottle old fella' and fall asleep.

Get off my lawn !
:cwl:
You gotta get past this loss, it's just a car and some money. Life can treat you a lot worse.
At least you're not on youtube for Mustang infamy.

Go and be well.

Sounds like someone needs to find a safe space. If you think he's that bad, you're in for a rough ride.

Dealers were just informed that the Dark Horse SC program includes a $5,000 enrollment fee. A healthy bump above what dealers had to pay to get a GT500. So if the dealer only gets one allocation, guess who'll be paying the 5k...

Things just got a whole lot worse for people trying to sell their DarkHorsies ... Ford offers $3500 cash to purchasers of 2025 DarkHorsies - Oh Boy :explode:

yesterday was the last day for dealers to enroll in the 2026 model year Dark Horse SC sales program, and still no pricing released yet. at this point, those who committed to buying one or paying their dealer to enter into the program are doing so price unseen. no parts, no options, nothing. and order banks are only 25 days away

did not realize there was a deadline. my salesman didn't mention so it's probably safe to assume they either won't have an allocation or it's already been negotiated with someone else? or they keep the order in house to get as much as possible.

if they entered into the program, they are promised one allocation. more may be offered later, but also may not. whose order gets that allocation, though, is up to the dealer. almost certainly going to be on a "who can we extract the most from" then "who does this customer know here" basis. expect to fight with people who are willing to give 50k+ markups

IDIOTS - honestly, Dealer stated to me today that documents were sent out to dealers a month or so ago those looking to acquire an SC had to join "the program" with an initial cost of $5K. But here's the kicker apparently even if the dealer coughed up the $5K that didn't mean nor did it guarantee they would get an initial allocation. Dealer stated, they see ADM's in excess of $50K on initial orders on the first go...
