Ford Pass remote start settings? learned or done by outside temperature

My question is … why was your KEY inside the car parked out in your driveway?? Lol.

I live in a gated community, on a dead end street where nobody who isn't supposed to be here ever comes, and there is a Blink camera pointed at where the car is that lets me know if anything is in the driveway. Normally it is only one of the neighborhood dogs that gets loose and runs to my house knowing I have treats for them, or the occasional Bobcat or alligator. Mr Glock and Mr Speer are always at the ready should they be needed.

There is one way in, one way out, and it is 3 miles to the guard shack so even if someone managed to get the car one phone call to the gate and they are not making it out of the complex without being in cuffs or a body bag

Ford app pass, when app starts the first screen is the start slider, then you select the aforementioned settings. Here this is first page that shows when I start app.

Yes, I have that too. But after I use the slider I get no other options.

I wonder if it has to do with the package levels? Do you have the premium upgrade package or whatever? Or maybe only darkhorse? Edit >I just saw you have the premium package.

Yeah this makes no sense to me unless this is year specific to the vehicle, or maybe there is a premium version of the app I dont know about.

Can you show screen one screen two in sequence and what / where you access the ‘climate’ settings in the app. As in after screen one press and push/pull/slide/shimmy (whatever) at the indicated spot in the shown screen….

Yes, I have that too. But after I use the slider I get no other options.

Only other thing that I can gather is that you guys both have an Android device which really shouldn’t make any difference at all. I’m stumped … or it could be for DH models only. I have the GT with Premium pkg but don’t get this option nor have I ever seen it.

If you look at the photo with the high and low slider its the first picture here. That is the temp adjust and the buttons with the seats are for heat or cool. That tab pops up from bottom along with the extend time. Make sure you've updated the app too.
