the new GT350 TA is what, 225K? The DH SC will be 150 out the door with some options. No chance it will be any less.
Honestly what does one car have to do with the other? Ford isn’t using Shelby to determine their pricing structure.

I can see 50K ADMs being the norm for awhile… eventually maybe 20k.

these cars may never sell at sticker, not after the GTD.
Same for ZR1/X although Chevy guys claim otherwise.

Several people have guessed that the SC wll be under 100k. Just commenting that in my opinion they are 50K
short. Before ADM's. We shall see though.

I'm thankful that we have a "car guy" running a car company. Do you think we would have these performance cars with a "bean counter" in charge?
Are you calling Jim Farley a “car guy”? 🤣 Here is a car quote from this “car guy”.

“My daughter’s boyfriend is one of these people. He bought a brand new F-150, he’s got a supercharger on it. He recently got a bunch of error codes because he updated the ECU against Ford’s standards, and now he needs thousands of dollars of expensive repairs because the vehicle has started chewing its camshaft. It was great that he could get 650 horsepower out of his EcoBoost F-150.
See what’s wrong there? Jim Farley a “car guy”. 🤣🤣🤣

The S650 only has the Dark Horse line. The S550 had Ford Performance Shelbys, Bullitt, PP Mustangs, Mach 1, and an unrestricted support from the aftermarket.

The S650 is fairly new so it might get some of the other options as well although I doubt it due to Farleys recent remarks regarding heritage names…

Anyhow, the S550 in reality had 5 versions: Ecoboost, GT, PP2, GT350 and GT500. Bullitt and Mach 1 were just different variations of the PP2.

The S650 so far has the following: Ecoboost, GT, DarkHorse (sitting where the PP2/Mach1/Bullitt would sit) and the GT500. What’s desperately missing is the GT350 – 5.2L manual (flat plane if possible but everyone would take a crossplane 5.2 MT over not getting anything at all) at a reasonable price.

Ford has stated the FPC 5.2 is now “out of emissions compliance” and they’re not spending the money to get that recertified after all the issues

people gotta let that engine die, it was a dud that had a great set of heads on it.
There’s no room in production volume for a N/A CPC 5.2

Since Ford has put almost zero effort into evolving the S550 I doubt that Ford will put any money into developing a 5.2 or even larger engine that is within emission compliances around most of the world. I had hops that Ford would actually invest into the Mustang or a larger engine in general but it seems that this is not happening anytime soon.

And although I like a FPC engine I would go with a CPC as well if that would mean that we actually get a displacement upgrade with a manual. In this day and age you either have to compete with the best or be unique. Unfortunately Mustangs never really competed with anything without a prepped surface but they were unique, especially the Shelbys. However, one cannot pull that card repeatedly without meaningful changes…

Anyhow, why do you think there is no room in production for a NA 5.2L engine? It’s not that Mustangs are flying of the lots or that there is a huge backlog…

So what is great about those heads and what do they fit?

This is what the people want and then we’d have a S650 version of a GT350 and I’d be back in the game

Voodoo engines famously consume oil and have bearing issues. Not to mention they underwhelm in the lower RPM band. I doubt they go back to that one.

They fit all coyote based engines, they flow well, they’re on Brett lasala’s 3K HP snot rocket.
They’re part of any high HP coyote build, worked over obviously but a staple.

best coyote head available.

I like to disassemble things.

Not sure I agree with that. Can you expound on it a bit?

I believe Ford will be at production capacity between raptor R and upcoming DHSC and there will be no capacity to build any more than what they can.

I would expect demand to outstrip supply for years.
