The old saying was you lose $2k when you drove it off the lot. At least for my age group. LolThere is the old saying “you lose 10k as soon as you sign papers and drive it off the lot”
Ah, so you bought it in High Point and I guess you live near there. Try some of the Triangle dealers (Capital, Crossroads) as the market is tighter here and you may do better.120 miles
All cars loose value
QotD right there. The tighter cars don't lose as much value.
In context, @Ryunker likely meant to type 'all cars lose value', not 'all cars loose value'I don't know what this means.![]()
bmw drivers... AMIRITE?Read it a few more times. It will come to you.![]()
This kind of life situation can happen to any of us. Honestly, I wouldn't sweat it for buying a house unless you have tragically poor credit, a previous bankruptcy or some mitigating factor that would affect your credit negatively. It's a secured loan, and not as bad as unsecured, revolving debt. But if it's a case of total obligations per month too much for you to afford both, yeah, then the car has to go and you'll need to consider a lower cost vehicle.DH Premium, HP $78K was the sticker not what I paid - need to clear the debt selling and buying a house it's not imperative but it will help a lot. I'm well aware for first year loss but honestly was surprised at the amount![]()

Rather reluctant to say cause it's so embarrassing furthermore people who are buying have no idea why I'm selling so it's not like they are dancing and yelling fire sale - even though it sorta isWhat are you being offered? Is it dealers or private?

Well as someone who is in the market for a mildly used DH, I am just curious myself! I don't want a dealer to make too much money off my sale, trying to triangulate on reasonable offers if I am patient.Rather reluctant to say cause it's so embarrassing furthermore people who are buying have no idea why I'm selling so it's not like they are dancing and yelling fire sale - even though it sorta is![]()
Play on words with added spelling PolicingI don't know what this means.![]()
