You should have went for the Eco boost, cheaper option for you since you're more after the electronics and lights than the engine, sound and experience.

2025 GT premium. First mustang and the worst vehicle I’ve bought (I’ve had over 15 cars/SUV’s). Ford does the over the air updates and it erases key features I had set. Quiet exhaust mode does not stay set to the times I set it. Now after the update the ambient light feature is no longer in settings, where did it go, I hav no idea. Crappy interior materials that have scratched, and I’m a clean freak and keep my cars spotless, all with ceramic coat and PPF, so I care about paint and interior cleanliness. I could go on with the other few little annoyances but I’ll end my rant as I feel better telling the world ha. Thanks for reading

Let me get this straight: You shelled out for a 480hp Mustang GT Premium, and your big gripes include the quiet exhaust mode not sticking and some ambient lighting vanishing after an update? And the interior materials aren't holding up to your spotless standards, even with ceramic coating and PPF? Brother, with that kind of power under the hood, how do you even have time to notice these "little annoyances" while you're blasting down the highway?

Oh, wait ... you're not actually pushing it? That explains why "it's too slow" isn't on your list. Look, I get it; we all baby our rides to some degree (guilty as charged on the cleanliness front). But let's be real: Nobody out there...literally nobody except maybe you and your significant other...gives a flying rev about your Mustang. Folks aren't rubbernecking on the street going, "Whoa, check out that pristine 5.0 GT with the flawless interior!" They just see another car zipping by.

The only ones who might glance twice are fellow Mustang enthusiasts, and even then, they're not judging your detailing skills. First question out of their mouths? "Any mods?" Because deep down, it's all about the thrill: the roar, the shifts, the burnouts, carving corners, or hitting the track. If you're in it for the "cool factor" or to turn heads with showroom shine, you might've picked the wrong pony.

Pro tip: If pristine interiors and zero drama are your jam, trade it in for a 2026 Prius. Those owners are the true clean freaks—spotless cabins you could perform surgery in, space-age coatings for max aerodynamics, and an obsession with squeezing every last MPG. Their adventure is hypermiling, not horsepower. Sounds like a match made in efficiency heaven.

Bottom line: Mustangs are built to be driven hard, not pampered like museum pieces. They're the everyman's thrill ride, and if you're not out there enjoying the raw experience, you're missing the point. Sell it to someone who will, and find your bliss elsewhere. No hard feelings...just keeping it real. :sunglasses: :like:

Every time I do a road trip, I love this thing more and more. You don't even have to be giving it the beans, just cruising along, listening to that V8 just loping along, letting you know that it'll turn feral whenever you want.
Iaccoca must have implanted his genes in it, it's almost Italian.

Some minor software glitches and the sky is falling. Sounds more like buyers remorse than the worst car ever.

I will admit that some of the software glitches are annoying, but not much worse than that. With that being said, when I hit the pedal, I'm good to go! When I am slamming into a corner and those Brembo brakes grab, or accelerating hard out of a corner, all I hear is the roar of that Coyote! If the op wants perfection and trouble-free operation, he shouldn't buy a car. He should buy a boat so he can find out what real pain is all about! Glenn

I absolutely HATE my Mustang because the floor mats (rubber genuine Ford) get dirty! Can't Ford make a car that doesn't have floor mats that don't get dirt on them!!!!????

Ever been caught up in traffic b/c of the hypermiling priussies? I have, during a few of their stunts on the interstates around DC. Once was in a car, 3 other times on a bike. In the car, I was without options and had to ride it out at 52mph in a 65mph zone for several miles. There was traffic easily half a mile behind this group.
They stagger their cars in a very tight formation across 2 or more lanes of traffic, about 1 prius length from each other. The time I was on my Ducati, it was 20 hybrids of various makes, mostly prius, a honda or 3. I know because I split between them at about 75mph. 2 other times on my ZX10r. About a dozen for one of them and I didn't count the 3rd - I followed a group of HD baggers who split between them. Several had open pipes which I'm not normally a fan of but in this case I'll make an exception.

Honestly, if Mustang ownership is that dramatic and traumatic for him, public transport is the best option.

I hate to hear of people unhappy with their Mustangs. I'll give you $750 for it to take it off your hands ;-)

I absolutely HATE the knuckle dragging apes that go down a four lane (city or hwy.) side by side blocking traffic with nobody else in front of them. In town, I just pass them on the center turning lane. This kind of road blocking has to be done by those on the very left hand side of the intelligence level bell curve. It isn't always Priuses either though they should have to pay a dumb-ass tax just for being that way.

Can't do it, $750 is just one month's payment on my Mustang......NOT!!! I don't make payments on cars, it costs too much, LOL!

Our payment is almost double that, but I only put $5k down and financed for only 4 years at 4.99%. I could've paid it in full, but I decided to invest the money and make more money. :) Our previous minivan we bought new in 2009, we got 0% interest for 4 years, but it only cost half the amount of our Mustang.

Out for a cruise today and got behind this Prius with a ā€œMā€ tag. šŸ™„

Fortunately I turned and he went straight.
