While a strut tower brace or a shift knob are obvious DIY installs, there are a lot of other parts that we find people tend to overpay for labor. No fancy tools or any alignments required, and with a short afternoon, you could save money and install these parts yourself, even with minimal mechanical knowledge. See our top picks for the S550 & S650 in this video!

If this post was made before the sales were up, I'd have probably been in for at least 2 of them. :-/

This is quite cool to know, i'll be targeting those mods with only bolts on to existing available holes, sounds like an easy win!

Here is my issue with the mods: I can use a creeper to easily access the underside of my '19 Ranger, but that same creeper almost won't go under my '24 Mustang. I do have a lift (it is not a floor jack), but the lift itself would prevent installing most of these mods. And I don't own a high ceiling garage where I could install a frame lift. I'm not alone in this situation I'm sure. Further, some of the (lift) alternatives are unfortunately dangerous! This often results in paying high labor costs to get mods installed.

I concur. I swapped the rear sway bar on my S550 in the driveway and although it didn't require being on a lift, it was still a major PITA lying on my back on the concrete and messing around with all of those stupid bolts that (it seems, memory escapes me) were held on with nyloc nuts. Of course, I am old (even older now!) and it's sometimes a challenge to get up off of the ground.

And not to pick on Steeda and TJ, but why does everyone have to make a video? Why can't you write a comprehensive article (or post) with imbedded images and links? That makes it a lot easier. For me anyway.

And it's all about me.
