So, I had a deal on a blue ember 2025 DH with appearance package. It was all done out of state but they p!ssed me off and I am probably backing out of it.

So, I have 2 other ones to decide on. could use some insight...

1 - 2025, 600A with Recaro seats, tremec, hood strip delete, carbon gray (my favorite color), OTD price $66, 800.
2 - 2025, 700A, tremec, grabber blue (color grew on me, but at 64 yrs old is it too racy for me?), OTD price $67,800.

Sounds like a no brainer? Is the grabber blue a cop magnet? I dont typically drive my current GT too aggressive, so I dont think I attract attention. I am exploring tracks in the south east to play on and get my yaya's out, but there are still those times when you want to punch it lol.

Any southeast owners take theirs to a track? if so where? I used to drag race years ago, but want to play on road courses.

thanks!

How good are you with the Recaro seats? You give up memory seats, power seats, and memory mirrors and get to pay 1500 bucks more for the privilege and status of having Recaros.

Personally, I like them but I wouldn't go out of my way for them.

- do either of the potential candidates come with the handling package and ginormous and incredibly satisfying brembo brakes? If you want to road course the car, you can certainly still do it without the handling package but you may have a bit more fun with it

If you like Grabber blue - see it up close first, then go for it.

The right color is whatever you like and nobody else's business and cops who will harass you for a color will harass you for driving a Mustang period. 700a with standard seats was mandatory for me. Love some heated and cooled seats and they work way better than the ones in my S550.

I’m partial to the grabber blue but either one is a good choice man. I sat in the recaros and didn’t care for them personally. I had a deal fall through on a Dark horse as well. I agreed on sticker price and when car showed up they wanted 10k more. I said peace out

Ive sat in Recaro's, they were ok, nothing that I sought out. I do like my heated seats in the cold months so there is that. Have looked at grabber blue in other mustangs, it has to grow on me but like it well enough

Im happy with the normal seats, they are comfortable on longer road trips, and I do like my heated seats in the cold months. Pretty sure I am going with the grabber blue unless they throw something stupid at me like the other dealership. seems a no brainer to go for the one with the most bang for my buck, Recaro's not really a selling point for me

I'm 65 and Grabber Blue was the only color that I considered!

I would not buy any car with Recaro seats. You give up too much and the leather heated/cooled seats are very comfortable.

I got the color that cops ignore the most,......Race Red. I don't like attention in what I drive either. I never speed, and I don't want to drive anything attention getting. Quit worrying about cops, you're too old to let those kind of things bother you. Please yourself first.

Option 2 for the 700A package. Heated/Cooled Seats, Memory Seats, Ambient Lighting, Approach Detection, Security Package are worth it imo. Assume #2 is Auto Trans as well, which I prefer, b/c I dont like driving a manual in traffic.

With it being winter time and Fords unveiling in Jan I’d hold out and see what’s coming before dropping 60-70 on a DH

Agree with this statement. Unless OP gets some barn burner of a deal, but I would suspect that wouldn't happen until after the unveil for the next model year anyhow.

If I bought a DH as a second toy, it'd have all the racy stuff. Not sure I'd want to give up the auto and heated/cooled seats otherwise.
And, I've got 7 years on the OP, Grabber Blue grabbed me after about two days of "I don't knows" over the colour. Definitely not cop bait, no more than any Mustang.
Women love that colour. I even got a big smile from a cute thing sitting next to me at the lights.
I'm sure it wasn't my George Clooney looks.

Had a Grabber Blue 5.0 for 10+ years only got pulled over twice. Once was a speed trap where he pulled over me and another car at the same time, the other was a ā€œwarningā€ where the cop was really just pulling me over to see if I was trouble maker.

So I’d say the color itself is not a cop magnet
