I don't know why U-Drag has such a hard time putting down good launches and ET's with Mustangs. I can't imagine putting down a mid-11 with a supercharged Dark Horse. The C8, however, popped out of the hole like they all do... very, very well.

Have you tried in yours? Dragy or racebox results on street tires? I have a hard time consistently cracking sub 5 second 0-60s on the street on my street tires. You need a drag tire to launch heavy front weight biased rear wheel drive cars and then you give up your cornering ability. Lots of compromise on our platform but at least she's got character!

Yep. 3.73s 0-60 on stock Pirelli tires before I supercharged it. If you have a stick, I can help teach you!

Full disclosure: I live in Florida and it was 100+ degrees outside. So they stuck.

I don't use launch control. I've been cutting trees down and coming out of the hole on fire for 30 years. It's all about feeling the car. Learning how to listen to the tires and suspension.

Don't get me wrong, the launch control is decent. If I'm feeling lazy (or nervous) I'll flip it on with the Favorites button on the dash. But if I'm serious or there's money involved, I'm going to launch manually and ride the clutch and feather the throttle for about a half a second then go to the floor. I launched at 3500rpms to get time. A little more RPMs and it hopped. A little less and it bogged.

They're on a dusty ass airstrip. Plus, the C8 has the engine over the rear wheels. Remember the ZR1 does 0-60 in 2.2 seconds. MotorTrend went 2.8 in a C8 Stingray. The GT500 and GTD still have a crappy 0-60 because of the chassis (Motortrend went 3.38 in a GTD, AutoWeek did the same in a GT500 while C&D went 3.6)

Supercharger on street tires = spin spin spin

main problem now is the top end
they were topped out for a bit 140mph is top speed limiter on stage 1 Whipple
would be very close to the e-ray and z06 if that was removed but thats not going to happen on that channel as they need stage 2 or custom tune

you see the gt500 is going 148 the DH should be around there

Unless Ford has fixed the system the times displayed with sync 4 are way off. Use dragy or other established third party GPS tracker and you'll see that the real world numbers are much much higher;)
