Dodges are big square grocery getters with a big V8 and horsepower. No way those cars can corner decently or last long being made by Stelantis Americans. They also get stolen by people then they total them in police chases. Nope, can't get there from here. I love my NA Mustang too much. Hard to love a square grocery getter.

BTW, Starship, have you ventured into crossing the 2000 mile mark yet? Drive that thing, brother, That's what it's for!! You're about to venture into "garage queen" territory, just sayin' LOL!!! 🤣
there’s a stigma to Dodges… along with being associated with certain social group ownershipšŸ™„

Stigma Definition:
The negative perception, prejudice, or mark of disgrace associated with a particular group, individual, or characteristic, leading to unfair treatment, discrimination, and social exclusion.

Next time you go out for milk, eggs, and bread, go by way of Idaho. Buy some camping gear on the way. You'll enjoy the car....šŸ‘
LOL…I do drive a good 5 miles past the Dollar General just so it won’t be a short trip.

The stigma I experienced was when I once bought a new Chrysler 300M and the dealer was so crooked, I was there 3 hours and still didn’t leave with the car. They told me to come back the next day. Well, over that night they changed my contract increasing the deposit, and a week later they called me up demanding the extra money they snuck in. Hands down the worst buying experience I ever had.

The big issue with the S650 is that it got heavier than the S550, and it just ā€œfeelsā€ heavy. It’s not a pleasant feeling, unless you love the Dodge Challengers.

And let me guess, you don't have an S650 do you?

According to Edmunds the difference is about 100 lbs more for gt premium. A few less cheeseburgers. What numbers are you finding from where? Maybe it's the steering tweaks that make it "feel" heavier.

I'm not knocking supercharging a gt or dh, sounds like a shit load of fun but I see dudes putting mickey thompson meats or the like on the back to combat breaking loose & other so called "mods". It would be more appropriate to get a 2025 super snake (7th gen). The Shelby team built a race car capable of making full use of an 800+ hp blown 5.0 power plant i.e. traction, handling, weight & braking. That is of course if you have $170k burning a hole in your pocket & someone to go your bail! 😲

I disagree with this....I have driven multiple S650s and I think they feel more refined than the S550 / quieter / smoother exc. but not once did I think it felt heavier......

Personally I like something less refined/more raw....hence my choice of Mustang......

Some people like more refined...nothing wrong with that....

I disagree with this.....I have driven S550 Super Snakes....the Ford Performance S550 Shelbys are far superior in terms of balance.......the S550 Super Snake I drove was more cars and coffee focused then track focused....

Dark Horse plus Whipple is where I would put my money if I wanted forced induction on a new Mustang.....or wait to see what is coming soon from Ford......I think there is something special about to be launched ......

When I traded in my Prowler for an 06 Mustang GT, it was like going from a go cart to a tank. Now going from that car to this, it doesn’t feel any heavier, but so much smoother and refined. The ride is damn near plush compared to my old Eibach-lowered live axle GT With basic-ass seats….lol

What amazes me is how much wider this car seems, though stats show it’s barely an inch wider than my 06. It feels so much more planted.

Around here, it’s rural 2 lane roads or in town traffic. I don’t plan to take mine to the track or wring it out in any way, so I’m enjoying the refinement and keeping my license…lol

It’s 100 for the GT, and 200 for the Dark Horse. The Dark Horse is 4,000 lbs (the GT500 is 4,200 for reference). Drive a Dark Horse and GT350 (or Mach 1) back to back and the difference is obvious.

A vehicle can be ā€œrefinedā€ (the S650 is not, it’s not a BMW šŸ˜‚) and still feel heavy. And that’s the S650, it’s heavier, it is what is. I’m not saying it’s slow, but the extra weight difference compared to the S550 is evident.

Exactly. "It's too heavy" and "the screens suck" are the two go-to troll complaints from the S550 guys.
