I'm needing to change my summer tires to an all season tire and have a 2024 dark horse with the stock 19x9.5 Front, 19x10 Rear. I'd like to get a wider tire if possible without swapping the wheels.

What are the max tire sizes that work for these wheels or what is a wider setup that works well on these wheels?

Shit, you can probably go 305 on that 10..
I have 275 on a 8.5 (right at the limit)

depends what tire you want

I'm pretty open on what brand of tires. It's been quite some time since I have had anything other than a suv. I'm pretty far behind on tires for sports cars.

Be careful with overall diameter when chosing. Without lowering you will end up with ugly wheel gap. This is why I went with 20" setup for all-seasons

Twenties look great, i cant run stuff like that were I live though (rural Az) truth be told I would be more likely to switch to 18’s on my dh and get taller tires if I could find some 18’s that clear the brembo.

I put the stock rear tires on the front and 305/35-19 Pirelli's on the rear. Upper edge of specs.

Are 20’s that much more of a harsh ride than 19’s ? Never had them

its not that 20 are inherently more harsh, its the smaller sidewall that makes the ride harsh. Now there are luxury cars with 20 that ride very smooth but they have specially tuned suspension for just that. When it comes to performance cars I have found 18s to be most comfortable with 19s being harsher than 18’s and 20’s being harsher than 19’s. But thats because you’re going from a 45-40 sidewall to 40-35, to 30. If I get around to getting some 18’s for my dh, Id definitely get 265 45 front and 285 45 rear, better rim protection and a smoother ride.

how does the car feel with this setup? i considered upsizing but worried the car might feel a little more floaty than planted in hard cornering?

The base DH needs more tire and I wish the rear wheels were 10.5 instead of 10 in. So cheapest upgrade was to put stock rear tires on front and buy new Pirelli Pzero 305/35 for rear. I have not tracked car, but I do live in a rural area and drive aggressive. 100 plus straight cruising and high speed sweeper turns no problem. Drving over the speed limit on twisty rural roads, also no problem. Again, I have not been on a track with them, but I don't see a "floaty" problem.

So you are running 275/40r19 on front and 305/35r19 on rear?

Yes, about the same diameter and 305/30 need 10.5 in wheels. 305/35 Pirellis came on Lamborghini's, so car will be faster, ha, ha!
Does it look weird with different sidewall size or handle any different?
