I just now see the fix has pushed to Q1 2026, and the stop sell is still in place...

I was not trying to muddy the waters, just noticed it on OASIS this morning and thought I'd update. We're gonna have to damn near GIVE away these '25s by the time they resolve it!

Will this make my 2024 easier to sell between now and Q 1 2026?
I'm thinking of selling for another adventure...

No availability of new ones can't help but raise the value of used ones. I got a text from KBB this morning that my '24 has increased in value by 6.5%.

Perhaps if you live in the south!
Lets be honest here, probably not if you live anywhere where it snows... typically northern buyers aren't looking for sports cars until spring. Their resale values are not strong during the coldest winter months, especially in the northern states.

I updated one of the sales managers, he said that once the recalls have been completed and the stop sell is lifted, that Ford will strongly incentivize the '25's to get them off the lot.
May be an opportunity if you can be flexible on color and content...

I looked through the other two threads.
So its a BCM(Body Control Module) that can get corroded, and it is supposedly located behind the passenger kick panel.

Going to see if I can find any video or pics on the net of someone attempting to locate the BCM in question, how to access it and check on it's status or if there are any leaks.
If someone has seen this please share.

Edit: It's an older video, but I wonder if the principle isn't the same with ours? This one is explained as a drain issue causing it, but I believe ours is seal related?

&%$#(@!!! Why can't stuff like this happen with '25 'Vettes?! If Chevy started "incentivizing" their '25s to get them off the lot................................I'd trade up! 😆

But they’ve already taken the first step, the second (incentive) may come later, since they seem to be in a habit of following the mustang lately (corvette - the 2nd american manufacturers vehicle under 7 around the ‘ring)

I hear you on the weather and seasons. I found that the market is now nationwide with people buying and having vehicles transported to their home.

Yeah, but I've had a Vette and never, ever again. Besides, they're made by General Motors.

So from what I am reading, it seems like a simple issue to check. Remove the passenger side shield and inspect. As one step further, spray water down the cowl on that side and observe. Yes? No? Maybe?
