Yes it’s connected directly to the battery.

Had the same setup on my 2016 Roush with no problems in 9 years.

Delete all profiles and don't create new one and see that fixed the issue for me

if i create a profile the car will default to the calm cluster

I'd be concerned about the scumbag effect. We have quite a few of them who'd rip that out just for fun.

The update seems to have done the trick. It's saving the track instrument cluster now. No more default Cobra gauges.

Just a follow up. The glitch still exists when selecting the memory button on the door. Only now it defaults to normal gauges. However, the car still keeps the custom gauge selection between starts now. That's all I really care about.

My wife’s Lincoln had a Driver memory glitch. It was OK if you only set it for one driver, but as soon as you programmed it for a 2nd driver, it got glitchy.

For anyone who has issue in future i got dealer to email me copy of my invoice.

CHANGED SETTINGS IN APIM, ENGINE TO MATCH DRIVE MODULE.

I had to look up what the hell is an APIM module. It’s what controls Sync, Carplay etc.
