Revving in Neutral in an automatic (While Driving)

it was worth it every penny to have my clutch control back.
I will never own another automatic sports car again. Period
Sucks the fun out of it , big time!
I just don’t care if it’s faster, which my tuned a10 was way faster.

I had no idea you worked in one. Was going to mention the double trumpet horn with a little air compressor. My dad wanted one and put it off. By the time he was going to purchase it the catalog no longer had it. So he used one from a later model. Not much louder. He gave me the bike. Dang thing runs like a charm. Horn still junk. When people make fun just say it's nostalgic.

My Mum and Dad were Italian, that's why I drive with one hand on the horn and, if it's deafening it's almost loud enough. The Mustang horn is pretty good though.

i have a legitimate use case for switching to N and revving. out where i live there are many coyotes and javelina, mainly because it is still a semi-rural area. being able to rev in sport or track exhaust mode lets me scare them off the road quickly so that they dont hang around and nobody else is likely to hit them

Oh it's a Sicilian thing. Has different meanings. None good. Remember the scene in The Godfather where he takes a stroll outside at night and goes into a bar for a nip? Poor guy

No. I'll check that out. It been a long time since I saw those movies.
I know of the dark side, but the Siciliani we met were some of the nicest people . Especially in Sciacca. It had the nicest "feel' about it. Like a really close knit community.
Probably going back there in '27.
PS. We've got chillies in our cars from there. Do you know the reference? Malocchio?

The one downside to an automatic vs a manual is that neutral shift and rev. Is this possible with an automatic? I've done it in other cars but not the S650

Malocchio is the evil eye superstition. Chillie symbols and also the corna (first and little finger pointing down) ward off the evil eye.
