60th Anniversary Center Caps

Just a follow up on this... after another round of calls to Ford MoCo in Michigan, to my dealer I purchased the car from in Florida.... I have gotten nowhere in the past 3 weeks.

I called FordMoCo a few days ago and after being bounced around their switchboard, I was told to file a complaint with Ford, over my dealership's lack of response and delivery of what they call "parts". I have talked to 4 different departments in Michigan and no one I have spoken to, has any idea what the red center hubs are, or even the 60th Anniversary Edition is or means. SIgh.

I don't necessarily want to file a complaint against the dealership, as I'm not sure it's their fault they have no correspondence with the supplier.

Can anyone offer a little insight on where to go next, I'd appreciate it.

Called ford preformance this morning was told dealerships will get a bulletin from Ford on the 11th of July but that's as far as they would go and wouldn't commit to saying when they would be sent out to the dealership.
As far as dealership go they have no control and are in the same boat as we are.

Called ford preformance this morning was told dealerships will get a bulletin from Ford on the 11th of July but that's as far as they would go and wouldn't commit to saying when they would be sent out to the dealership.
As far as dealership go they have no control and are in the same boat as we are.

That would be a pleasant experience... as opposed to being passed along from marketing, to parts, to media relations, to complaints ... with no one having any idea. :)

I have been hounding Ford and my Dealer's Salesman for the past 3 weeks. Ford doesn't even know what I am asking about and tries to blame the dealer, 2 of the people I talked to were extremely helpful and even called the dealer while I was on the phone, the last one I could hardly understand because of the language barrier. She would not do anything and told me it wasn't Ford's problem and she wasn't even phased when I told her that this would be a deal breaker when I considered my next new car.

I did talk to my salesman on Monday and he assured me that the "Ford" person he talks to says that I don't have to do anything that the parts will show up in the mail. We will see what happens, but I am not holding my breath and I told my salesman to expect a phone call in a couple of weeks if they do not show.

I took the part number into my parts dept and the parts manager researched it and according to Ford the official release date is July 12th..... but we've all heard that story before!!

just went to my local dealership with this part number said the system wouldn't let them order it with a note of availability on the 11th of July. So hopefully that will also be the ship date for our center caps.
also went on the supplied site levitown ford which is online only and inputted the pn also did a inquiry couldn't find it listed on thier site.

I'm not sure why you can't see them on the website. Levittown is a regular Ford dealer. If I manually search the PN it comes up for me.

I don't know about the "released on the 11th", I ordered my set thru Levittown and they are sitting on my work bench waiting to be installed. I got them ~2 weeks ago. Maybe a backorder is due in the 11th.
