New anti-corrosion tire stem covers with a tiny Mustang on them…..my newest “mod”……lol….all of the white at the top is reflection from the camera flash. They really are solid black where they should be

This is 100% true.
It is one of my big gripes when I am doing tires at the shop, not only to they weld themselves on , even if you get them off sometimes it fuses the core into the stem so you can't get it out.

Hard to break or set a bead with the core still in the stem

Looks great!! But not sure if I like the comments above mine about the fusing. Yikes...

I check my own tire’s PSI often enough and adjust it for ambient temps here (can get from -20 to +110 during the year), so I’ve` never had any problem at all with the caps fusing to the stems….

It pretty much sounds like you just shouldn't leave them on and "untouched" for years at a time. Basically just unscrew them from time to time and you should be fine. Am I missing anything?

I just checked my wife’s Lincoln caps and they were fine after a year. I think road salt over the winter can contribute to corroding the aluminum.
