Changing the Dark Horse rear spoiler with a duck tail spoiler?

Has anyone changed their rear spoiler on the dark horse to a duck tail spoiler. If so how is the performance compared to the OEM spoiler and how does it look? I love the duck tail look on the mustang and thinking it may even look better on the S650 Dark Horse.

Spoilers aren't going to make one bit of difference on a daily driven vehicle. It's 100% about aesthetics for cars on public roadways.

Another member did a duckbill spoiler just recently, but I think he had a spoiler delete car. SEARCH is your friend.

Personally, I don't like the look. But my opinion is just that. You do you.

I had a professional body shop paint (to match the car body Vapor Blue color) and install the Anderson Composite Carbon Fiber Integrated Rear Ducktail spoiler. I showed some pictures in another thread but since you asked about a Ducktail Spoiler, I will attach them here. The Anderson Composite Integrated Ducktail Spoiler replaces the component at the rear of the trunk lid and the wing spoiler mounted on it.

Obviously folks do whatever they want to their own cars. But conceptually I don’t understand why anyone buys a car with unique design cues singular to that model and changes the things that make that model what it is. I like ducktail spoilers too but they aren’t part of the DH. It’s kinda like taking the stripes off a Mach 1. Why? It’s part of what defines the car. Delete or change these things and the car loses it‘s identity.

But that’s just me.

Edit: nevertheless I do think the vapor blue car above looks good in absolute terms.

Based on my observation, the factory DH wing spoiler is similar to the wing spoiler on the GT w. PP. In my case the rear trunk lid component supporting the wing spoiler had a larger gap on the driver side vs. passenger side and the body shop could not adjust it. The Carbon fiber Anderson component fit much better than the factory component which is Thermo-plastic .

I guess don't do anything that changes the vehicle, appearance or mechanical is what you're saying. Every mustang I have had I changed something both appearance and mechanics. You make it your own and if you feel that a simple spoiler change, which ford does with the delete option, is what you like better I think go for it that's what is so unique about having a mustang.

No. Not at all.

I’m simply saying that if something is a very prominent feature of an iconic design, if you change that thing then the car‘s identity isn’t the same anymore. No matter how good the car looks.

Spoiler delete is (I suppose) a factory option. Ducktail is not.

But if that’s what the owner wants, it’s OK by me. Your $, your choice.

No offence intended, but it's not to my taste. Probably due to all the crap ducktails that sprouted on all sorts of shit cars when the first Porsche turbo came out.
But having said that the OP's one looks well integrated.

This i have two spoiler modules i have a dh style on one and a duck tail on the other takes me 15 minutes to swap out got the bolts and camera from flea bay and just swap when i feel the need to change the look
