I'm not saying it's not true, but Motor City is an independent source of news and information about Ford products, and is not owned by or affiliated by Ford.

It could be they simply got the numbers wrong, or perhaps they are basing those numbers on the type of fuel or emissions calibration like others have suggested.

Either way, the little difference in HP is unlikely to be from any tuning difference. Remember that the carbon traps alone are supposedly worth 10 hp. 2021 mach 1s where rated at 480 HP, while the 22-23s were rated at 470 simply because they added the carbon trap.
