Tower Strut Brace

Hello,

We just got our 2025 convertible.
My question if anyone can help is, a tower strut brace came in preinstalled, that was not ordered or on the sticker. I did not order the Performance Package, I tried to get a build sheet but Ford only has them for 2020 or older.

Has anyone else had this happen?

The verts have extra bracing for added frame rigidity since they lose some chopping the top.

Do you also have the rest of the performance package? Does the GT badge in the back have a performance logo?

No, there is no other part of the Performance Package.

Removing the top makes the car more flexible (not good)... Ford adds the strut tower brace and some additional bracing underneath to minimize this.

The convertibles come with a 2 point strut brace. I pulled mine and installed a 3 point brace, tie back to the cowl. Adds stiffness reduces cowl shake

Mine is tied to the firewall.
