Tackyville can be fun sometimes. I'll be in Atlantic City soon and I am hoping for some, let's call it, moments of authenticity. But yes, no tacky shit on the Mustang.
I want to add that cutting the pipes to the very exact length is a one-try gamble and that dealing with repeatedly rotating mufflers sucks. The double walled clamps are a reliable and definite solution and worth the little extra cost.
My HD clamps do what they're supposed to. My OCD fully kicked in with an irrational fear of rotation and over 3 months I measured countless times using a spirit level (car Parked at the same spot in the garage). They did not move by a single degree.
The clamps are also very leak proof. I guess...
That the mufflers rotate with the standard clamps is quite common I think. I bought a pair of these when I visited the US in January:

I promised to take a video when changing back to stock for my appointment at the road traffic office for a registering new wheels and a spoiler. I did put the resonator back in a few days ago and find the stock sound to be less interesting and quieter than I had remembered.
If there's not a...
These will permanently keep the mufflers from rotating:

In April I will have to go to the road traffic department to get new wheels and a rear spoiler checked and registred. I won't show up with the H-pipe but with the resonator. On this occasion I will take a video for a before/after comparison. Knowingly that these videos aren't capable of showing...
They have a S650 version out already and got the ECE approval by using a trick. The exhaust volume is officially deteminded in a standard bypass situation, let's say between 40 and 60 kph (those are probably not the actual numbers) at a certain position of the accelerator and at a certain...

OK, duly noted. But also a official statement is completly different from what happens in practice. In my job (healthcare) I do quite a lot of things I could never oblige to beforehand in text.
Peace of mind for something that's in a grey area you don't get from a car manufacturer by email...
